Eda looked at Serkan with annoyance. The change in his behavior since yesterday, when he left her alone on the pavement, was drastic.

For the few days they spent in each other company, he already gave her many contrasting treatments, going from one extremum to another, but nothing could compare to this cold shoulder she got in the morning when they had to meet two hours before the interview.

It was an important event, which was going to be broadcast live with the attendance of a live audience, who would have the possibility to ask him questions so Eda wanted to prepare for it well, given the short amount of time she had, but it wasn't easy as Serkan straightforwardly ignored her.

She knew he wasn't even listening to her and didn't read what she had sent him yesterday night. He was answering her with half-words and grunts, and she had enough.

Eda hated when people treated her this way. Once in her life, she went through a similar experience and the withdrawal and coldness she received from once the closest person in her life was torture. She never wanted to feel this way again, but sadly enough, she got exactly the same from Serka, qnd similarly to the past, she didn't understand why.

Eda gathered her papers, wanting to cry, so she just left. Serkan didn't even look at her, too busy talking on the phone. She walked outside to the small patio and looked up at the sky to control her tears.

She really hated him right now. For everything. For acting coldly toward her, for ignoring her, for talking to her, for smiling at her. She hated him for writing beautiful music, for appearing in her life, and even for existing. But she hated herself for falling for him so quickly. How was that even possible? She barely knew this man, and yet, he affected her so badly.

Eda swallowed hard and wiped her nose, Fortunately, she didn't cry, so her make-up stayed intact, and her eyes didn't turn red. No one would see what inner turmoil was happening inside her.

Eda went to the production control room, from where she had a good view of everything that was happening on the studio floor. Almost everybody was already there, ready to start the interview.

She took the positions slightly to the side from the production team, standing in front of one monitor, which was giving the front view of the stage and two now still empty seats. She checked the time. It was less than ten minutes to the start of the broadcast.

Eda heard the floor manager working the audience, and soon Serkan appeared on her screen, walking toward his chair while one of the assistants was putting a microphone on him.

Eda had to bite her lips to control her reaction because her heart beat faster at his sight, and she only saw him half an hour ago. She couldn't go on this way. She tried to focus her attention on anything else than Serkan, not to think how handsome he looked in this light gray suit pants, gray vest and white shirt he decided to wear, but she couldn't, so she allowed herself to drool over him for the last time, and first thing after this interview, she was going to look into her contract and check the ways how to terminate it. Immediately, if that was an option.

The interview started, and Eda had to admit that Serkan absolutely transformed in front of the camera, and the interviewer and audience were eating out of the palm of his hand. It almost looked like the grumpy and cold Serkan from the morning turned a switch and changed into this smiling, relaxed man who was answering the questions with ease.

It also helped that he was extremely photogenic, and the camera loved him. Eda could feel his confidence and charisma transmitting through the screen, and even if she knew that his smile was fake and answers studied, she had to give it to him. If she hadn't met him in person before, he would fool even her.
