Eda was looking incredulously at Serkan, who watched her as if he was seeing her for the first time in his life. She made a couple of steps closer to his bed and stopped only when she was just inches from him.
"Serkan, what are you talking about?" She asked in shock, not being able to cover her reaction.
"Do we know each other? Are you new here?" He asked, still watching her.
Eda was looking him in the eyes, trying to find in them anything that could tell her if he recognized her, but there was nothing. He was observing her with the same slight curiosity as the first day they met.
"Serkan." Efe cleared his throat while Serkan was checking out Eda's legs and breasts. "This is Agent Yildiz. She joined MIT three years ago."
Serkan stopped fucking Eda with his eyes and looked at him with a frown. "I would rather remember that."
He turned back to Eda with a small smirk. "You hard to miss."
"We have a problem." Efe spoke up again, clearly looking uncomfortable and disoriented. "Eda is your partner. You trained her personally. I think you have amnesia."
"This is a joke? Are you having fun at my expanse?" Serkan asked in anger, and shock was detectable in his voice.
"Well, you hit your head pretty badly." Efe murmured, looking around at the people gathered in the room while Serkan pressed his hand to his head and started massaging it.
"I fell sick." He muttered under his breath, closing his eyes.
"We will leave you alone." The handler made a hesitant gesture toward the door as Serkan started breathing heavier.
"I will go for a doctor." Eda said, turning to leave the room.
When she glanced over the shoulder, Serkan was keeping his head in his hands, not paying attention to her.

"He was talking with me as that market mission was just yesterday. He even described in detail where I was, what I was wearing, and what we had for lunch. I had to look for old pictures because I didn't remember so well."
Eda was listening to raised voices coming from the door ajar while she was sitting near and reading Serkan's medical reports and his blood test results. There was nothing there that could explain his memory loss. Except for two big bruises on his forehead and cuts on his lips everything else she remembered.
Eda bit her lower lip at the remainder of the scene she had witnessed just yesterday and the amount of blood on the wall where Serkan hit the back of his head. But he was conscious and recognized her after the fall from the stairs. Was that so bad that he lost part of his memories later?
Eda rubbed her face. She barely got any sleep last night, crying in Serkan's bed, and she still didn't process the stress she experienced yesterday. On top of that, every new piece of information was only adding to the confusion.
The door opened, and Efe Akman stood in them, looking at Eda. Ferit and Deniz were already inside while Engin changed them to stand guard in the hospital.
"Eda, come in. We need to discuss our strategy."
She followed the man inside in silence, and before she took a seat in front the desk, Ceren and Melo entered the room.
Efe looked around the people gathered in his office and started to talk, standing behind his chair. "We have a serious situation here. As you know, Agent Bolat lost part of his memories, and his getting it back is crucial for our mission because we have to know what Mert told him before his death. So, whatever he gave him it is somewhere in Agent Bolat's mind, and we have to recover it. I talked to the doctors, and they are optimistic as he didn't suffer any serious trauma to his head. They said it is possible that if he returns to his everyday environment, it will trigger his memories. For the time being, for the next seven days, I decided that Agent Bolat will be held in the hospital until the end of his treatment. After that, we will be prepared to watch his every move."
