#27 Moral Of The Story: Don't Fail Regulus

James and Regulus lay flat on the steps of the passageway that led to the Three Broomsticks. The two of them loved a challenge but even for them the Three Broomsticks was too busy today and not worth getting caught bent over a barrel for so they settled on the cellar.

James was running his hand through his hair, now propped up against the wall while he watched Regulus button his shirt. Regulus watched as James struggled to fix his tie and came over, sitting on James' lap and doing it for him, loosely the way he liked it.

James ran his hands up and down Regulus' thighs while looking into his eyes, staring at him with complete love and admiration. Regulus kept looking down at the tie but eventually made eye contact with him, wrapping his hands around James and bringing him into a gentle kiss.

James lent forward so that Regulus was laying back on his legs, giggling as James moved his lips down to Regulus' jaw, neck and collarbone. Regulus bit his lip and continued to pull James down, feeling the warmth of his skin pressed against him.

James pulled back smiling at Regulus who looked up slightly unhappy, "why'd you stop?"

"We've got to pick somewhere else, not fair if we go round two here when we've only gone once everywhere else"

"Fine" Regulus rolled his eyes and sat back up onto James' lap, "where to next then?"

"I felt like this was safer since no one saw us so maybe somewhere in the castle this time?" Part of their fun was the thrill of getting caught, James and Regulus both had a lust for chaos and drama and since their first "encounter" it had become almost a challenge.

"Ugh you know what happened to me today?!"

James stared at Regulus in confusion, "does this have anything to do with where we're going next or are you just mad about something"

"Bit of both, so I'm in charms right?"

"Right"

"And Slughorn has the fucking audacity to come into the classroom and publicly announce that I failed his exam in-front of everyone"

"Merlin he's such an asshole"

"Right!"

"Right"

"We should go to his office" Regulus looked at James hopeful, he was mad because he had gotten a 99% rather than 100% on the exam so apparently that meant he wasn't good enough.

"I don't know Reg I mean I know I've joked about it but-"

"James" Regulus kissed him and started twirling James' tie between his finger, keeping his legs spread out over James' lap.

James sighed and grabbed Regulus by the waist, roughly pulling him in to kiss him deeper, "how am I supposed to say no to you when you look like this"

Regulus laughed and came back down to James' lips with equal passion, then standing up and pulling James' by his shirt back through the passageway.

The two walked side by side out of Hogsmeade, listening to the snarky comments a person every now and again would make about how the two being seen together in public was becoming increasingly common.

The two made their way through the castle and to Slughorn's office, they opened the door and to their relief no one was inside. Regulus threw a spell at the door to keep it locked and James covered the keyhole with his robe, Regulus sat down on Slughorn's chair quite proudly and grinned as James came over.
