#67 I'd Marry You In Paper Rings (Part One)

Regulus is a performer, yes, there will be Taylor Swift songs so you swifties can sing your hearts out while reading! (Most of the songs will be in part two though)

James tries his best to see Reg as much as possible and goes to one of his shows, only to learn Regulus has been busy writing a new song👀 also they be smutty, eventually they be wholesome too.

Regulus was standing in the valet parking, talking to the rest of his crew when someone came walking towards him. Regulus turned to see who it was, hoping it was just a security guard coming to get his bags because there had been one too many incidents of crazed fans making their way backstage, Regulus still had a bruise on his side from when someone had tried pulling him into their taxi when walking home.

Regulus loved performing and the majority of his fans were brilliant, they were so supportive and the excitement in the crowd sent adrenaline running through him every time he performed, unfortunately there was that small percentage who had to take it too far.

Regulus was beyond happy when he saw who was arriving though, it wasn't a security guard, it wasn't a fan- well not one of his usual ones anyway, it was James. Regulus had been doing his world tour and unfortunately there were only so many places James could go with him before it got too expensive, but now that they were back in London for Regulus' final show, Regulus got to see James again. James came over and grabbed Regulus' waist, pulling him into a close hug before kissing him through a warm smile. Regulus looked up at James happily and the two walked off to Regulus' hotel room away from any prying eyes.

"I'm so happy to see you, I've been keeping up with your shows but figured I should surprise you tonight for this one" James kissed Regulus again, who was laughing and fell back onto the small couch that sat against one of the walls in the room. James laid Regulus down and Regulus just smiled at him, looking up at his boyfriend, who probably had to be the most patient man Regulus had ever met.

"I'm happy to see you as well, you coming to my show tonight?" Regulus tilted his head at James, who he could tell wasn't thinking about Regulus' show, but, he was thinking about Regulus' "performance".

James was doing that stare Regulus found too amusing, whenever James was thinking about Regulus he did this little stare that looked like he was falling in love for the first time, except he and Regulus had been dating for almost four years, and yet James still looked at Regulus like that, every time, without fail.

"Absolutely, however our friends and my family will also be there. That's why I've come to see you now. Remus told Sirius your plane hasn't landed yet so we can have some time alone before he works out Remus is full of shit and he's been standing at the airport for an hour for no reason"

"Remind me to buy Remus some nice chocolate and a new book, he truly deserves it"

"He does, pretty sure Pete, Sirius and I have given him a permanent headache...well Sirius just gives him the head part but you get what I mean"

"Oh James, why?! I did not need to hear that, he's my brother"

James was laughing, Regulus was not, however there was a faint smile appearing, Regulus hated it but James' laugh was infectious and when he saw James laugh, he couldn't help but smile. James sat down properly on the couch and pulled Regulus onto his lap.

"So how long do we have together?"

"Couple of hours I'm guessing, I need to be back with my crew at 5:30 for styling and make up before the show"

"That gives us plenty of time" James picked Regulus up before he could protest and moved him over to the king sized bed, laying him down and kissing every part of Regulus he could get to while Regulus laughed, wrestling him off. James sat back on the bed, leaning back on his knees and pouting at Regulus, who just rolled his eyes with a grin.
