#68 I'd Marry You In Paper Rings (Part Two)

And the shows begins!

The family arrived in the vip parking lot and James could already see paparazzi waiting for them to enter the stadium, he didn't necessarily mind this part however some people weren't here to make positive comments about Regulus which made it difficult to be polite.

As soon as they left the area, out into the brief section of street until they could reach the back doors, James, Sirius and the rest of their family were bombarded with questions and cameras.

"James, James! Over here! Why did you start dating Regulus? What's your relationship like? Why does Regulus not go out with you in public? Is it all for the money?"

James took a deep breath and put a firm hand on Sirius' shoulder, telling him not to fall for it and to continue walking, but they didn't stop, the questions got more intense and more personal so just before James got his family into the elevator, he turned to the group of different journalists and addressed them all as one.

"Why don't any of you ask me about my favourite colour? What Regulus' favourite animal is? Why must you ask questions that intrude on mine, and my family's life?" James took a deep breath and lowered his hands, "I understand that this is your job, to find out as much as you can, but I can tell you right now you're interviewing the wrong person"

"What do you mean by that?"

"Let's just say a little birdie told me, there's going to be something different about tonights concert"

James shrugged at the cameras with a playful smile before joining his family inside as the security guards followed him in. Effie smiled at her son as he came in with an "innocent face", followed by a tired sigh. James was scoffing, happily, at the noise now happening outside though.

"You enjoyed that" Pete grinned,

"No, no of course not" James laughed back,

"What did you mean by that?" Sirius raised his eyebrow and James just smiled,

"I don't actually know, all I know is Reggie is planning something. Sneaky f-" James made eye contact with his mother, "-fine man wouldn't tell me his secrets" James pouted as Sirius rolled his eyes.

They all made their way up the stairs to the vip lounge where their balcony seats looked out over the stadium and stage. James looked around at the lights and all the busy stage helpers moving amongst the crowd to fix certain areas, making sure Regulus' stage was perfect to perform on.

"It'll be nice to see Reg again" Remus smiled, leaning on the railing and looking out to the crowd, "can't wait to see his stage persona as well" Remus chuckled to James, he had never seen Regulus perform on stage, sure he'd seen him sing when the two were just lounging about back home but never on a scale like this.

"Yeah I'm excited as well, I know what it's going to be like but it's still so cool to see him in the spotlight, he's worked hard for it"

Remus looked over his shoulder to make sure Sirius couldn't hear him, "so you did everything to try and get this little secret out of Reg?"

James smiled and made sure Sirius was still distracted before looking at Remus dramatically, "dude I tried my best, but he would not budge"

"Just kept teasing you, huh?"

James elbowed Remus' side and they both coughed before changing the conversation as Sirius walked over with drinks for them.

"Hello boys, what are we talking about?"
