(Not counting incorrect quotes or other random posts I've made)

Let's take a trip down memory lane, shall we?

Regulus pulled on the string and a small light appeared in the dark room, neither James or Regulus had gone down to the basement in years but they were moving soon and the two figured it was finally time to go down and face their past, the good times and the bad.

James and Regulus pulled boxes off of the shelves and out of the drawers, leaving them on the floor where they began to sort through the piles of photos, mementos, clothing and decorations.

Regulus looked up as he heard his husband laugh, smiling as James showed off the red and yellow outfit, "I believe this was one of the first times we met"

"You were a lifeguard for one day, I can't believe you kept that, after all these years and you still have it"

"A sentimental gay, what can I say?"

"Fucking Dr Seuss over here, calm down"

James laughed and went back to his box, taking out photos of Regulus, himself and their friends. James smiled as he got to a picture of Peter and himself standing next to each other with their shirts lifted, two tacky, drunkenly done tattoos right above their boxer lines.

"A rat and a stag surfing, who would've guessed" James smiled but then sighed, "I wonder where Pete is now. He's probably got his own shop or something" James laughed to himself.

James looked up and saw Regulus smiling wholesomely at a photo album, his facial features soft as he flicked through the pages.

"What have you found, love?"

"Just some photos" Regulus smiled down at the moving photo of Sirius, James, Effie, Monty and himself on Christmas wearing ugly Christmas sweaters.

There was the photo of them all together, a photo of just him and Sirius, a photo of James and Sirius drunk and giggling as well as a photo of Effie and Monty with their arms around each other as they served food on the table, like one of those vintage photos you'd find of your grandparents when they were younger.

Regulus pulled out another photo album and this time passed it to James, it was full of photos from their wedding. James took the album with a smile, knowing just from the cover what he was going to find inside.

James flicked through the pages, "damn we aged well didn't we?"

Regulus looked over at the photo of Monty and James waltzing together, "I did tell you that" Regulus winked.

"You and Marlene! I swear to Merlin, control yourselves!" James pointed his finger angrily, but then dropped his hand with an eye roll as he listened to Regulus laugh. That laugh, that laugh now belonged to James.

James found a thin album in the pile of boxes, the album was filled but it was just pictures of random places. As James began to turn the pages his face went red as he realized what the book was.

"The Broomsticks underground passage, Dumbledores office, the courtyard, our common rooms, our dorms, that haunted house we went to for some random reason and of course the light house"

Regulus paused, biting his lip before looking up at James with a flustered face, "wonder what that's about?" he said guiltily,

"We were feral" James laughed,

"Were? Since when did we stop?"

The two laughed but then Regulus' face dropped as he took out a wristband from underneath the albums. He thought it was a wristband to one of Sirius' concerts at first but as he looked closer he realized it had James' name on it and his hospital ID.
