I slowly opened my eyes and was greeted by Sandro's gentle eyes.

"We are here, baby." He gently whisphered.

I groaned and sat properly. I opened my eyes and looked outside. The pristine beach met my eyes at tuluyan akong nagising. I did not know there was such a thing here in the North!

I smiled at him widely and he raised his brows  at me. Kaagad akong lumabas at mas namangha ako sa ganda ng lugar. The sand is white and the small waves are already inviting me to take a swim. Pinong-pino ang buhangin sa aking paa. And the smell of the sea made me more excited to discover what's more in here.

I looked at Sandro as he properly parked his car. I can't believe we will stay here for five days!

"Sandro, let's go please!"

He just smiled at me at kaagad na kinarga ang dalawang maleta sa magkabilaan niya. I walk beside him at nakailang lakad lang kami ay nasa pinaka entrance na kami ng resort. It wasn't a hotel but there are several cottages and villas here that are probably for occupancy. Probinsiyang probinsya ang datingan.

Tinulungan siya ng mga attendant naka uniporme. "Good morning, Ma'am, Sir!"

I smiled at the attendant as he helped us with our things. "Good morning too!" I greeted back.

"Good morning Ma'am, Sir!" Ngumiti sa amin ang babaeng receptionist.

She smiled and looked at me for a brief moment and her eyes were now nailed to Sandro. Her eyes were twinkling and her mouth hung open as she stared at him more.

I looked at Sandro and he just looked so oblivious of the stares darted at him.

"We have a reservation here, Sandro Gunner Esquivel." He plainly said.

Kaagad na nagtipa ang babae sa monitor. I can even feel how nervous she is as her eyes look so uneasy. All the personels are wearing a simple white polo shirt.

There was an elderly man wearing a usual floral vacation polo and shorts with his shades.

"He is the owner of the resort."

He looked at us delightedly.

"It is a pleasure to meet you here. Mr. Esquivel. I also met your parents the other day." Manghang-mangha ang boses nito.

"Yes, they arrive here first. My wife and I will stay with them for a couple of days."
