The only difference this time is that, nakapila na ako para bumili ng ticket para sa bus, while my friends and classmates are probably already enrolled and busy buying school materials or currently enrolling. I could already imagine the long line to the registrar office.
The old lady asked me.
"Vigan po. Sa terminal." I feel like choking while saying it. Up until now, I cannot believe that I will be leaving the place where I have lived all my life.
I looked at my baggage at tumabi dito.
Tita Letty offered me their vacation house in Vigan. She told me that they only used that house a few times at may nag-aalagang caretaker sa kasalukuyan. Kumpleto rin daw sa gamit at hindi ko na kailangang problemahing mamili, and she already inform the caretaker about my arrival today.
I am so thankful to them, they have been supporting me financially. I am broke at hindi pa nakapagtapos, but they offered me again that I can continue my studies in one of the local universities if I wanted to.
Doon na ako tumanggi, they will support me already with my pregnancy and all.
I was hesitant to actually grab their offer at first, but Gracie already threatened me. When I told them that I will pay everything that they have given me, I felt like they just agreed just for me to accept the offer already.
And as for my friends at school, I was afraid to talk to them. Sandro did it already, and I am afraid my friends will feel the same too.
Hindi ko mapigilang mapaluha ng maisip ang mga iyon, they been good to me, but Sandro loved me. Especially that they already gave their opinions regarding the kidnapping of Cassie Gomez.
I waited for a moment until it was my turn.
"May bagahe po kayo? Saan po punta niyo?"
"Meron po. Sa Vigan terminal po." Linahad ko ang maleta kong may kalakihan.
He carried it and slipped it inside the baggage area.
"Pumasok na kayo, Ma'am."
I hurriedly entered the bus pagkatapos kung makita na maayos na ang pagkakasalansan ng maleta ko. Hinanap ko ang sit number ko. I found it and immediately made myself comfortable.
I lived here for almost twenty years, dito na ako lumaki, natuto, at nagkaisip. And this is where I found him and fell in love, masakit at mapait pero masaya.
