I do not know if the timing is just right or not, but the kids were asleep as Tita and Tito carried them in their arms. We could tell them right after.

Sandro and I fixed the twins on their bed habang nasa may garden sina Tita. They will have a meeting after this at bibisita na lang ulit sila bukas.

Kaagad kaming dumiretso sa may garden. Tita looked at us smiling. Tito wasn't smiling but his face looked calm and clear. Both of them looked so curious kung anong sasabihin namin.

Umupo kami sa harapan ng mag asawa. Sandro then held my hand where my ring was and I noticed how his Mom followed Sandro's hand movement and quickly noticed the ring. Napasinghap siya at napatakip ng bibig.

"Ma, Pa. Sevie and I will get married." Sandro calmly directly announced.

Napahigpit ang kapit ko sa kanyang kamay. He then looked at me and smiled gently.

His father smiled at us. "We are happy for the both of you."

Ngumiti ako ng marahan.

"Ma...."

"I am just so happy for the both of you.....this is a dream come true of mine."

"Kailan niyo balak magpakasal? May napili na kayong date? How about the gown, Iha? We should start looking for a designer right now, and a wedding planner too! But don't worry about that because I have many designer friends. We can contact them any moment" Tuloy-tuloy niyang sambit.

She suddenly sounded enthusiastic.

"Relax, Solel. They will plan it out on their own, let's just wait for their decision."

"We are still going to plan Ma. We just got engaged and as long as I want to fasten the process, I want Sevie to make it at her own pace." Sandro interjected.

Tita looked at me apologetically. "Right. I am sorry, Iha...But please if nakaisip ka ng ng mga plano, please informed me immediately."

Tumango ako ng marahan at ngumiti. "Wala pong problema."

Her excitement is understandable. Sandro is their only son at ikakasal siya sa akin. They must have been waiting for this moment since.

I do not need his help, but he still insists.

It was a set of cookies for the kids and yema cake.

"Nanay looked! We helped Tatay bake cookies and your favorite yema cake."

Sandro used to bake yema cake for me, he learned baking because yema cake is my favorite. And now, he does not only bake for me, he now baked for the kids too.
