Returning back to the forest was a dream. Jake had his mission— Toruk. But, Denahi had a different mission, meeting her son, Kìlan, for the first time in months. Seeing her little one, how big he had gotten, made Denahi emotional. "He is such a sweet boy," Neytiri mentioned whilst Denahi rocked Kìlan within her fixed arms.

"He has gotten so big," Denahi smiled, looking down at Kìlan. The last time she had seen him was when he was newborn. Remembering that Neteyam had also been quite large for such a young age, "He has Neteyam's markings." A piece of her late son within their newborn one.

Kìlan winged at first when entering Denahi's arm, not recognising the stranger. But, sooner or later, he settled within them. Like he knew these were the arms he had belonged in all of this time.

"How is your shoulder?" Neytiri asked as she picked at some chopped fruits. Denahi smiled, continuing to look down at Kìlan, "It is fine. Not as strong. But, it works."

Although, lifting her arm to shoot her arrows still continued to hurt, Denahi could manage that pain inside. Nothing she couldn't handle. Compared to the past. "Would you mind watching him for a couple of minutes?" There was something she had to do.

Neytiri took Kìlan back into her arms, cradling the boy. Denahi kissed Kìlan's head before walking towards the tree.

The Tree of Voices. There was someone Denahi had been wanting to meet once again. The first time in such a long time. Ignoring the burning feeling within her heart.

The ends of her kuru wrapped around the tree— sending her back.

"Hello, brother..." The sound of Denahi's voice sent Mukata's head snapping towards her standing figure. Mukata stood and sprinted towards her. His face full of handsome smiles and energetic meaning.

"Sister! Where have you been?" Mukata questioned, running his hands throughout her braided hair. Denahi laughed before tugging his hand away from her head.

"I have been... out," He still didn't know. He didn't know that he had died. This was a memory from her past, one before everything had happened with Jake Sully. "Out where? With Otanu?" Even the name sent a disgusted expression to Denahi's face. Mukata laughed at the sight.

If only he knew. He would beat himself for mentioning that mans name. "No! Fixing what you have broken!" The memories.

Constantly fixing what Mukata broke. How much she missed carving bows, scowling him for his stupid mistakes. Regretting how much she used to scowl him.

How she wanted him back with her. Meeting his children, getting to know Jake more. How good her life had been throughout the years— and the bad of it. Knowing he would've been there throughout everything. To hold her when she needed him.
