(AN: Sorry this chapter took a little longer, I've been slowly writing it but kept losing interest, but I like how it came out in the end. Either way, I hope you all enjoy as always.)

"Didn't expect to be seeing you so soon Doomsday, enjoying yourself down there?" [Y/N]'s vision was fading in and out of consciousness, though his surroundings didn't help his weary status, an inky blackness expanding all around him, this place once again. "Need a helping hand?" came the voice once again, [Y/N]'s vision rapidly improving, "Brainiac? How long have I been out for?" [Y/N] said, pained. "Quite a while from the looks of it, you did take quite the beating" Brainiac continued, stroking the bottom of his chin, "Honestly I was surprised."

[Y/N] snorted in response, slowly getting up from his prone position, yet falling quickly, somewhat dizzy and thrown off balance, "I was taken off guard, It won't happen again." Brainiac maintained his gaze, "I'll say so, someone you are familiar with apparently, Harry you said previously correct?" [Y/N] snarled at the man, not necessarily enjoying his blasé attitude at this time, "Something like that." [Y/N] responded shortly, pressing hard against his jaw, his entire body sore, "Haven't fought someone that strong in years, he's definitely gotten stronger over time."

Brainiac looked sternly at the man, "I'm not caught up on your relationship with the experiment, though I am prestigious at making connections. Ultimately, if you were to come face to face with them again, would you be able to fight them properly?" a small silence fell between the two. "And I'm not commenting on your fighting capabilities, you showed great hesitance before transforming, you cannot allow that to happen next time, both of our lives are on the line here Doomsday." [Y/N] waved him off, "A lot of criticism for a voice in my head. Listen, I was made to fight other monsters, it's what I'm good at..." [Y/N] took a moment, looking off into the abyss, "I won't let it happen again, whether he remembers me or not."

"Good." Brainiac said succinctly. "This experience has been valuable either way, your rapid evolutionary abilities should aid us whenever we next meet, though I would advise coming to terms mentally, I don't want to see you beaten this badly again." The two glared at each other, but realistically [Y/N] knew the man spoke some wisdom, Luthor had played his trump card and [Y/N] blinked first, and had been utterly defeated for it. Internally, [Y/N] was conflicted however, could he realistically defeat Harry if they were to fight again, his opponent seemed strong, perhaps stronger then himself, though that couldn't be, he was the strongest there was, right?

Brainiac seemed to catch on to [Y/N] contemplations, "An idea to consider, [Y/N], if you would humour me." [Y/N] gave the man a blank expression, "Go on..." Taking a breath Brainiac continued, "You have explicitly trained your resistance to Kryptonite, to a level where small amounts to little to hinder your ability, and large amounts weaken you slowly over time. However, the same may not be true for your friend, who I assume was subjected to a similar line of experimentation, am I speaking any sense?"

"That would make sense..." [Y/N] began, his face serious, "Luthor still needs a way to control him, he wouldn't want to lose that advantage if he were to break free of his control, we can exploit that." Brainiac held a false proud expression, "Hooray for us, we have come to a conclusion, amazing." holding out every syllable. "Unfortunately, I believe our chat must come to a close soon, I would like to repeat, don't let yourself fall into a situation like this again." [Y/N] looked at the man darkly as his vision started to blacken, soon the void expanding, Brainiac turning his back upon the man, consumed by the night.

====================

Two large transport ships soon appeared along the skyline of the Lex-Corp owned Havana site, black and unmarked, each carrying their own squad of mercenaries, armed to the teeth and ready for their mission. What once was a relatively neat and newly built facility had quickly become a militarised zone, with large portions of the site and central building destroyed, beyond reconstruction, in a state of disrepair. A fire still raged amongst large portions of the facility, hiding the inhuman craters and level of destruction, though its source now gone the fire burned bright, like an anger refusing to capitulate.
