As Jack, and the rest of the small unit, excluding Reinhardt, slid round the corner of the houses, the mud becoming a real hindrance now, and slowing them down tremendously. Morrison was rightly furious at their brawler, charging into battle all by himself and not consulting him, but he would be lying if he were to suggest that this was out-of-the-ordinary, and Wilhelm took great pride in defeating his opponents by himself.

The rain pelted down upon the team, Torbjorn having some difficulty keeping up, and Angela returning to a nervous expression, but Ana remained stoic and prepared for any encounter, that's why Jack knew he could always trust her, she kept her nerve under any situation.

As they moved throughout the small town, the banging of Lindholm's turrets grew louder and the sounds of metal scraping and colliding rang out, being heard quite a distance away, whatever was going on, the fight had definitely begun, and Reinhardt sounded as if he had dived straight into combat, as-per-usual.

Torbjorn continually looked down upon his tablet, showing the fight that had broken out, a hammer swing slightly missing the 'monster', a grapple holding the weapon in place, and well delivered strike towards the giant knight, the unknown figure was clearly trained in some sort of fighting style, or had been in a combat situation before, and seemed intelligent to some level.

Torbjorn decided that this information would be useful for the captain to know, and, between ragged breathing, stated, "Captain, this thing ain't no omnic, but it doesn't look like a human either, but it's sure got some experience in a fight, we need to be careful." The short engineer warned.

Jack took the information in his stride, simply continuing on towards the fight, but this was some interesting information, perhaps this thing could be talked down to, but he wouldn't get his hopes up. Ziegler's face seemed to change once she had heard that the 'monster' had some intelligence, and she began to look somewhat conflicted, but this went unknown by the rest of the unit.

As the small group was about to round the final corner, sounds of impact exploded from the distance and they heard a deep and gravelly voice shout, "OMNIC OR NOT, YOU WON'T BE LEAVING THIS PLACE ALIVE!" Though it was somewhat muffled from the distance and the continually beating rain. This seemed to eliminate the idea that it was definitely not an omnic in all of their minds, though there was little time to think.

This threat was soon responded too by the familiar voice of their shield, "NICE HIT MONSTER, I COMMEND YOU, BUT I'M AFRAID YOU ARE CONFUSED, BECAUSE I AM CERTAIN THAT THIS DUEL WILL FALL IN MY FAVOUR!" This time the voice was far more clear and close-in-distance, as the group rounded the final corner and made clear sight of the 'monster'.

Each of the units had different interpretations when they initially saw the 'monster', and were far more critical than Reinhardt's simple conception of this figure as simply an opponent.

Jack and Ana had a similar response, confused as to what they were looking at. The large being stood comparable in size to Reinhardt within his full armour and boasted a similar level of armour, made of out a large layer of stone-like material and some protruding bone pieces. The 'monster' had parts of a suit still on its person, but large parts were ripped, including half of its head, some of the torso and its right arm. The rip in its mask showed a deep, crimson eye, glaring at its opponent.

Torbjorn looked at this creature with some curiosity, he had never seen a creation like this before, and while his speciality was in engineering and mechanics, this certainly piqued his curiosity. Analysing the thick layer of grey skin, Lindholm began contemplating how much firepower he would need in order to take down the opponent, and quickly began working on an explosive from parts that he had on-hand, though he was doubtful that he could do much against the figure.
