Hope woke up in a bed that she wasn't used to, the boys were nowhere to be seen which made her start panicking a little bit as she was worried about them. She walked over to the door to try and see if you could see anyone but she could not which made her even more worried.

"Hello! Anyone? Where is my brother? I barely saw your faces, so if you let me go, I couldn't even identify you, and not that I would, because you guys are vampires! Who would believe me? I didn't even know you guys existed until yesterday! Is anyone there? I mean you don't even need me," Hope remarked before someone came to the door

"On the contrary, I do," Raphael stated as she nodded

"Uhm, can you tell me if my brother is okay?" Hope asked in a pleading manner

"The answer to that is above my pay grade," Raphael retorted as she sighed

"Paygrade? They pay vampires?" Hope questioned trying to lighten the mood

"Let's just say we invest early and often, sit down, there's no way out, you're a hostage, so accept it," Raphael demanded before she sat down

"I'm a hostage? That means that you can't physically hurt me or my brother or my friend?" Hope questioned looking at him before the door opened

"How sweet, you are more worried about your brother than you are yourself which means I am so looking forward to getting to know you," Camille charmed the blonde

"Like girl talk or trauma talk?" Hope questioned as she tilted her head

"Now I know why Alec seems to like you so much," Camille joked with a chuckle

"If I tell you what I know, will you let me see my brother?" Hope asked looking at the woman

"Could you tell me where to find the Mortal Cup?" Camille asked before Hope sighed

"I wish I could but I don't know," Hope responded picking at the bedding

"Clary knows," Camille stated causing Hope to shake her head

"No, she doesn't," Hope stated in defense of her friend

"What if she didn't tell you?" Camille asked before Hope scoffed

"No, that's not it I mean why do you think we went to the City of Bones? She's trying to find a way to remember, but they said it's like someone erased her whole past like some kind of spell or something," Hope explained in a slur of words

"Damn, Magnus Bane," Camille mumbled but Hope caught it

"What's Magnus Bane?" Hope asked as she watched the vampire

"Nothing, darling do you want a margita? The original recipe," Camille offered going ahead and pouring it

Hope decided to try it since she'd never drunk before and she figured that she was going to die so why not? Camille went on to push some information out of Hope that she didn't have which irritated her a bit. Clary or she had no clue where the cup was and nor did Hope wanna know as it seemed to be the thing that was causing all the problems.

"What? Come back," Hope slurred as Camille got up

"I smell angel blood, we've been breached," Camille stated before Hope chuckled

"It's all right, darling, will you just stay right there, just for a minute?" Hope asked as she was cold

"Are you all right?" Camille questioned as she grew worried

"I'm a little light-hearted and light-headed so I guess I had a little too much to drink," Hope suggested with a groan

"You had? That's a mind-blower because you had too much to drink, and I'm whatever I am," Camille joked while Hope chuckled

"You certainly are," Hope mumbled before closing her eyes

Hope must've dozed off because when she opened her eyes she was laying on a couch with her brother holding her hand as nerves ran throughout his body. She groaned before sitting up and making her brother jump up and help her. Shortly after, a man came in and grabbed them making them stumble a bit. The team ended up getting them out causing Hope to become a bit blinded by the sunlight.

"Hey Sunshine, you good?" Alec asked while looking at her

"Yeah, just a tad bit hungover," Hope responded with a nod

"Hungover?!" Hayden shouted before she sighed

"I figured that I was going to die so sue me," Hope scolded shoving him away

"Shouldn't we get the hell out of here?" Simon asked the group

"Why, Simon?" Jace asked giving the boy a look

"They're right downstairs," Simon added before Jace scoffed

"Let them come after us, they'll just turn into a bunch of fried eggs out here. I thought you said you watch movies," Jace retorted before walking away

"Oh, my God, it's over. It's actually over," Clary spoke rushing over to the teens

"Hey, it's our birthday," Hope cheered before they all hugged

"Proities, I see," Hayden remarked making her laugh

They went back to the compound, the twins weren't talking about it much but they both knew that they would now never know what happened to the parents in the car that day. They had been given rooms to stay in for the nights coming just until they figured something out.
