Hope was lying on Alec's chest as they laid in bed, Alec was running his fingers down her arm as they talked and soaked in the sunlight. Hope was running her fingers through his hair as she looked at him with a soft smile written on her face. She was so content with just laying in bed with him the whole day,
"Hi," Alec greeted the blonde
"Hi," Hope greeted with a soft smile
"Why is Hayden calling me?" Alec asked as he looked at his phone
"Ignore it, please," Hope pleaded with her boyfriend
"Oh man, what time is it? I have to get to the Institute," Alec spoke making her pause
"Oh..." Hope mumbled out to the boy
"No, I'm just kidding, were you really afraid I was gonna go?" Alec asked in a joking manner
"No," Hope denied in response
"What are you afraid of?" Alec asked as he watched her
"Unicorns," Hope joked causing him to roll his eyes
"Oh, come on, Hope, I'm serious," Alec corrected her
"I don't know, I guess losing the ones I love," Hope admitted making him smile
"I love you," Alec said before kissing her
"Hello? Is anyone here?" Hayden called out from the other room
"Coming, give me a second," Hope yelled back before standing up with the blanket
"Hope, the blanket! You're taking the Blanket!" Alec reminded as she walked off into the bathroom
"Are you two decent?" Hayden asked with his eyes closed
"Yeah, you can look," Hope responded before Alec scoffed
"No, don't look, not yet," Alec scolded the boy as he tried to put on his boxers
"Well, get out so we can get dressed," Hope stated tossing a pillow at Hayden
"No more funny business and if you would've answered your phone then you would've known I was coming over," Hayden remarked before leaving
"We should've answered the phone," Alec responded as he sat up
"We should've locked the door," Hope spoke before kissing him and walking away
Hope went to finish getting ready, Alec laid back down on the bed before getting up and getting ready himself. After Clary had her ceremony, Hope, Alec, and Izzy met her in the hallway to say congrats and hug her.
"Congratulations," Izzy spoke as they pulled away
"Congratulations, Clary," Hope greeted with a hug
"Thank you," Clary added with a warm smile
"How did it feel?" Alec questioned the shadowhunter
"Uh it hurt, it was amazing but it is embarrassing with all these people around," Clary admitted with a soft smile
"Don't be embarrassed, you are the hero of Alicante, you went hand to hand with Valentine and killed him," Izzy stated to the redhead
"Yeah, so stop being so modest," Hope agreed with the
