𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘆-𝗘𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁, 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗶𝗻

Hope was worried about Luke and how he was handling Clary's death so she was planning to go over to his house to check up on him, She was also making Alec go with her since she thought of it as a way to spend time with both of them while eating breakfast.

"Time to rise and face the day," Hope stated as she opened the curtains

"Why is it so early?" Alec asked with a moan

"Oh, with everything going on, sleep has been a bit of a struggle," Hope spoke while looking at him

"Why are you dressed?" Alec asked as he sat up

"We are going over to Luke's house for breakfast since he's been M.I.A lately and it's starting to worry me," Hope admitted to the boy

"And, why do I have to be there?" Alec asked causing her to give him a look

"You are my family now and I want you, Hayden, Simon, and Luke to bond because you three are the most important men in my life," Hope explained in return

"I don't like how you added the vampire in there," Alec commented making her roll her eyes

"Ten minutes, then we're going," Hope stated before leaving the room

Luke opened the door making her sigh as she took in the appearance of the house and him. She hated seeing her father figure the way he was since he had always taken care of her and her brother.

"What are you two doing here?" Luke asked once he saw the two

"I'm gonna make you breakfast and then we're gonna have a music jam session while cleaning," Hope directed her father

"Hope, you need to take it easy," Luke spoke causing her to sigh

"I'm worried about us, Simon is feeling guilty, Hayden is being distant, you are falling apart, and Clary is dead," Hope admitted with tears

"Everything will be okay," Luke told her as he held her arms

"You were always the strong one out of us and now that you need help, I don't know what to do," Hope added to the man

"You need to take care of yourself and that baby," Luke reminded before she smiled

"Babies, Hope and I found out that we are having twins," Alec spoke while looking at him

"Wow, are you prepared for that?" Luke questioned the couple

"No, but I know that my kids will have thier grandfather for support if they need him," Hope stated making him smile

"One step at a time," Luke whispered before hugging her

"I'll be making pancakes so invite the boys," Hope directed the older man

"I don't have a choice in this matter either, she practically dragged me out of bed, this morning," Alec added to the werewolf

"Stop making it seem like family time is torture, the both of you," Hope scolded from the kitchen

She had gotten down making food when Luke came back into the room only to tell her that Simon and Hayden weren't coming which made her upset but she still put on a smile and helped Luke. Hope was hanging out with Alec when Jace and Luke came in and called a meeting

"We can confirm that the apartment jumped again early this morning," Jace explained as they walked

"And we have good reason to believe that Clary was in it," Luke spoke in support

"The problem is she could be anywhere," Jace added as well

"Well, not anywhere," Magnus corrected the shadowhunter

"What do you mean?" Hope asked as she was confused

"Inter-dimensional domiciles run along ley line grids, based on the apartment's size and power, there are only a handful of habitable regions with grid junctions large enough to support it," Magnus explained pulling up a grid

"All right. Well, let's get a list of all places that fit the prole and check any nearby Institututes for unusual activity, Magnus, you must have some international warlock friends who could keep an eye out for us?" Alec questioned the warlock

"Well, I'm not one to name-drop, but I'll make a few calls," Magnus spoke with a smirk

"Even if we check all these places, it's still like finding a needle in a haystack," Luke commented to the group

"Then we better start now, we are going to find her," Jace spoke before walking off

"Have you called Hayden and Simon about the possibility?" Hope asked her father figure

"They didn't pick up when I called," Luke admitted making her sigh

"I think I've got something, a Shadowhunter in Paris just reported his stele missing," Alec explained as he walked back over

"Do they have any suspects?" Jace questioned his brother

"They think it's a rogue Shadowhunter, a young woman," Alec informed the group

"Clary," Jace stated with hope lacing with his voice

Jace, Alec, and Luke went to Paris to go get Clary back from Johnathon, Hope had stayed back as she wanted to try and get into contact with Simon and Hayden as she felt that they needed to be there for when they brought her back.
