Hope sighed and looked back at the lightwood siblings before heading back to her room. Shortly after, Hope went to help Magnus since she felt useless just waiting around for Simon to come back with the others.
"Are the wards solid now? Nothing will get through?" Robert questioned the warlock
"Even my magic has limits. The wards won't hold off that Forsaken attack but my protections will slow them down," Magnus explained while looking at him
"Extra time is priceless," Robert added with a sigh
"No, that's after you get my bill," Magnus remarked to the older man
"Lydia will take care of that," Robert stated before walking out
"Your arm needs to be looked at," Hope spoke walking over to Alec
"It's okay, I'm fine," Alec added before she gave him a look
"If anything were to happen to you..." Hope trailed off in thought
"Hope, I'm good. All right? I gotta..." Alec spoke before Hope nodded
"Go? Of course," Hope agreed before Magnus paused
"You're a busy man and I should find this Lydia person, payment upfront is just smart business so where might I find her?" Magnus asked in return
"I haven't seen her but if I do, I'll send her your way," Alec stated before walking out
"Someone's grouchy," Hope mumbled before going to clean up the mess
Once, Hope had gotten done cleaning, she went back to her room to try and call Clary, and when the girl didn't answer she decided to head over to Luke's to try and find them. She walked into his living room to see Clary following him around ranting as Hayden sat on the couch mumbling under his breath at the girl.
"Simon is gonna hate me. Luke, I did a terrible thing," Clary ranted to her father figure
"It can't be undone. I found my way back, your mother helped me when he understood that you're there for him..." Luke spoke before Hope scoffed
"But how could he know that if we can't find him?" Hope asked in return
"Are you thinking with your brain or your heart?" Luke asked his daughters
"Both," Clary admitted to the man
"Then you should take a step back and think about your next step instead of rushing around," Luke directed the girl
"Or maybe she should've waited to get mine and Hope's opinion on it before doing it," Hayden remarked walking into the kitchen
"You shut up, let's go make sure that he didn't go home," Luke directed before they all nodded
