𝗧𝗲𝗻, 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱

Hope woke up to chaos, Clary and Jace were on the run making her extremely confused as to what went on while she was asleep. Izzy had come and got Hope as she was trying to avoid Alec or Lydia and she figured that Hope would want to aswell. They walked downstairs to see what was going on when Alec came up to them looking angry at his sister.

"Where the hell have you been?" Alec asked walking up to them

"Where I needed to be, away from you and your fiancee," Izzy seethed looking at him

"Jace and Clary are on the run and I can't protect you if you don't tell me the truth, either of you," Alec stated looking between them

"We don't need protecting, Meliorn's alive and that's all that matters," Izzy added before walking off

"Hey, just tell me this, is there any way that Raj could have seen anything incriminating?" Alec asked catching up to them

"I don't think you can call it an attack if no one got injured," Raj spoke as he was confused

"We were ambushed," Lydia stated making the girls pause

"How is that possible? Nobody outside the Institute knew about the mission," Lydia reminded her man

"It was dark and we couldn't see much. There were wolves and the others were hit with vampires but I swear, the one that got me moved a lot like a Shadowhunter," Raj stated before Hope walked up to them

"I'll talk to Luke about the wolves if it'll make you feel better but till then, lay off," Hope stated before looking back at Alec and Izzy

"I'm sorry," Lydia spoke once she came closer

"For what?" Alec asked the woman

"Isabelle Lightwood, by order of the Clave, you are under arrest for high treason," Lydia stated making them pause

"What? On what grounds?" Alec asked in a loud manner

"Only a handful of people knew about the Meliorn op," Lydia explained before Raj smirked

"Everyone knows she's sleeping with him," Raj added before Izzy scoffed

"You know what, Lydia? You're no better than Valentine but at least he had the guts to tell Downworlders to their faces he wanted them all dead, you hide behind the Law," Izzy seethed to the blonde

"I don't hide behind it, Isabelle. I simply follow it because it guards against one very important thing. Shadowhunters fighting other Shadowhunters," Lydia scolded in return

"If she is convicted, she'll be stripped of her runes and banished, I can't let that..." Alec spoke before Izzy shook her head

"Don't, It's not your fight," Izzy stated before walking out

Hope shook her head before heading after Izzy was put into her room until trial, they were talking about what to do and what to plan when Alec came rushing inside the room making them look up at him from thier places on the bed.

"Jace stole the Cup, Izzy, did you know about this? My God, did you help him? Both of you? The Cup is the only thing that can get you out of this," Alec stated before Izzy rolled her eyes

"Jace is doing what he thinks is right," Izzy stated to her brother

"What's right? He put the whole Shadow World in danger, he put you in danger. We have to get him back here with the Cup. It's the only thing that can help you," Alec reminded as Hope nodded

"They've taken Meliorn back to the Seelie realm and you can't track him there," Hope added crossing her arms

"Not by any of the normal ways," Alec corrected her before Izzy sighed

"No, absolutely not, you cannot track Jace through your parabatai bond. It will weaken both of you or break the bond," Izzy stated as she realized

"Jace already weakened it so how does he think I can trust him after what he did?" Alec asked looking at her

"Don't say that. Please, Alec, think about what you're doing," Izzy pleaded with her brother

"What's a parabatai bond?" Hope asked but was ignored

"Alec, don't do this out of anger. Jace is still your parabatai," Izzy added as they walked down the hall

"Lydia's right, I'm not letting Jace sacrifice my sister for his girlfriend's pointless crusade. We're doing this and if you don't want to help, get out," Alec stated making Izzy pause

"I'll help but on one condition, you don't let it go too far now your bond with Jace can withstand a certain amount of strain but you have to promise me that you won't let it break," Izzy warned before Alec scoffed

"Jace is dead to me," Alec stated to his sister

Hope shook her head before walking out of the room since she wanted no part in what was about it happen, she didn't deal with pain or anything like that well. She was worried about Clary, Hayden, and Simon all at once since they were all in their separate ways instead of all being together.
