𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗻, 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿

Hope was sitting on Alec's bed watching TV when she heard the door open making her turn the volume down and look over to see an upset Alec walking in. She swung her legs over to the side so she could talk to him face-to-face.

"On a scale of one to ten, how unpleasant was it?" Hope asked looking at him

"Off the charts. Yeah, I've never seen them so angry," Alec explained to her

"Just give them some time," Hope reminded making him nod

"After what I did, I don't think they'll ever forgive me," Alec stated as she sighed

"Don't underestimate a parent's love. You don't regret it, do you?" Hope asked looking at him

"Everything happened so fast, I didn't have time to think. I just wanna make sure Lydia's okay but I owe her so much," Alec admitted with a sigh

"We owe her. What she did was nothing short of heroic. Hey, look, maybe we can slow things down? Why don't we start with that date you owe me?" Hope suggested to the boy

"Yeah, let's do that," Alec agreed with a chuckle

"I know this great Ethiopian place on 44th..." Hope started as they walked before they saw Lydia on the ground

"Lydia! Go get help," Alec directed the blonde before she nodded her head then ran off

Hope ran to get help before Luke suggested that she take a step back so they could have some breathing room to catch the guy who did this, Hayden had taken her out to get milkshakes so they could talk about what had happened at the wedding and how she felt about it.

"How mad were his parents?" Hayden asked as she sighed

"He thinks that they'll never forgive him and he doesn't know if he regrets kissing me," Hope admitted in a soft tone

"He doesn't mean that he regrets kissing you because he seemed very into that at the alter," Hayden remarked making her roll her eyes

"We haven't even been together for more than an hour and he doesn't know how he feels about us," Hope ranted to her twin

"Well, I'm proud of you for just showing up and facing him like that," Hayden added to his sister

"Life was way easier when we were seventeen," Hope joked with a laugh

"Yeah, I mean now we have shadow hunters, warlocks, werewolves, and vampires," Hayden agreed while counting

"Which, we're friends with one of each," Hope added before taking a drink of her milkshake

"Crazym eighteen," Hayden mumbled as he ate a fry

"So, does that mean that you are an honorable werewolf since you are practically in the pack?" Hope questioned her brother

"Pretty much, I'm always helping around with the wolves and other things they need," Hayden explained making her nod

"Well, I'm proud of you for going after what you want," Hope spoke with a soft smile

"Same with you and if he doesn't see what he had in front of him then you always have a home with me and Luke," Hayden told her as he watched her

"We should go check in with Luke and Clary," Hope spoke as she stood up

Hayden nodded his head before tossing his food away and then they headed thier way to Luke, once they made thier way there they saw Alec waiting on Luke while he was on the phone. Hope shared a look with Hayden since she figured he knew what it was about.

"How's Hodge doing?" Luke asked once he got off the phone

"He'll live, It's Jace I'm worried about, Valentine messed with his head," Alec admitted as they walked

"What, at Renwick's?" Luke questioned in return

"Yeah, he went through a lot recently. I thought we had settled it but something was killing him inside, I don't know what it is," Alec explained with a sigh

"This is all too familiar. I saw a similar thing with Valentine 18 years ago," Luke admitted in a soft tone

"Jace isn't Valentine," Alec deadpanned to the man

"Not yet but we gotta keep an eye on him," Hayden added for his father figure

"Where'd they go?" Hope asked looking around

"What do you mean?" Alec asked looking at her

"Stay here," Luke directed looking at his kids

"No, I'm coming with," Hayden stated chasing after him

Hope shook her head as she chuckled before heading back to thier house, she waited for Alec to come and talk to her about what he wanted. Luke came and grabbed her and took her back to the compound where she saw Jocelyn making some tears fall as she ran to hug her mother figure.
