It seemed like everything had changed since that night at the institute, Hayden was approved to be into the pack and Hope was working on being more in tune with the institute and magic. Hope was grabbing coffee with Hayden as Clary and Simon were off in thier own world about loving each other,

"When do you think that they realize that we are here too?" Hope asked her brother

"Probably around the same time Simon says something dumb to kill the mood," Hayden joked with a chuckle

"Don't be rude, he's been waiting for this to happen forever," Hope scolded the boy

"Why must you take the fun out of everything?" Hayden questioned his twin

"You love me," Hope remarked with a smirk

"Only because I have to," Hayden remarked right back at her

"Keep it up and I won't pay for your coffee," Hope warned pretending to be mad

"You know that I was joking," Hayden reminded looking at her as she had paid

"Let's go give the love birds thier drinks," Hope spoke with a chuckle

"You and Alec are just as bad as them, ya know?" Hayden questioned his sister

"Alec has made it pretty clear that he isn't one for PDA and neither am I," Hope explained as he held the door for her

"Didn't you two kiss and say I love you after the attack, In front of people, might I add," Hayden reminded with a smirk

"Well that was because we thought we were going to lose each other," Hope explained some more

"So, you do love him?" Hayden asked in a soft voice

"Yeah, I do," Hope admitted looking at her brother

"Clary," Jace spoke as he came up to them

"Sorry, what are you doing here? Is everything okay?" Clary asked with concern

"Inquisitor Herondale just arrived at the Institute and she wants to speak with us. Now," Jace explained in a tone

"Let me get my stuff," Clary spoke before getting up

"Jace, there's something I wanted to tell you, no matter what, your secret's safe with me," Simon stated making the shadowhunter pause

"What secret?" Jace questioned the vampire

"You know, how your pure angelic blood somehow made me immune to the sun," Simon explained in a hushed voice

"You don't know that's what happened," Hayden reminded making Jace point at him

"What else could it be? My point is, if any vampire were to find out, there'd be a bullseye on your carotid artery but you have nothing to worry about, I got your back, get in here," Simon stated going in for a hug

"No, never, Clary, you ready?" Jace questioned once he saw her walking back

"I'll call you tonight?" Clary suggested before walking off

"And then there were three," Hope joked handing the boy his coffee

Hayden chuckled at his sister before they all went thier separate ways, Magnus and Hope had set up a time for her to come and learn some more basic spells. Hope heard the front door open making her and Magnus go see who it was.

"Hey! You must be reading my mind, I was just about to call you," Magnus greeted as Alec walked in

"There's a Greater Demon on the loose and we need your help, it's been leaving this on its victims," Alec spoke to the warlock

"Oh, dear. This sand, it's from Duduael," Magnus stated as he looked at the sand

"Which is a dimension of Hell? I remember something about it in the book you made me read," Hope explained crossing her arms

"The worst dimension, did you find this on their face? How did he get loose? He's been shackled for centuries," Magnus commented with confusion

"Who, Magnus?" Alec asked in return

"The demon who taught man the weapon of war, A Greater Demon, Azazel, one of the princes of Hell," Magnus explained to the shadowhunter

"Right, a real prince, and why is it so dark in here?" Alec asked looking around

"Hello, Alec," Rafael greeted as he came out

"What is he doing here?" Alec asked looking between the three

"Raphael has something important to tell you," Hope added watching her boyfriend

"Nothing he says matters to me," Alec told her as she nodded her head

"Your sister's in trouble," Rafael started before Alec scoffed

"You're damn right she is, she's suffering withdrawal back at the Institute because of you!" Alec scolded the vampire

"She just came by the DuMort, begging for a bite, I didn't touch her. You have my word but there are plenty of vampires more than eager to take a bite," Rafael explained some more

"I never should have left her alone," Alec mumbled in blame

"It's not your fault," Magnus added in comfort

"Don't worry, we'll find her," Hope spoke looking up at him

"Here's the address to the closest den and there's a good chance she's there," Rafael explained to the boy

"Let's go," Alec stated before walking out

Hope sighed before grabbing her bag then heading back home, she knew that she couldn't help out besides the institute. Hope decided to take a small nap to pass the time as she was growing tired, by the time she woke up, it was dark out and she didn't see the point in her heading to the compound since she couldn't do much there.
