Today was the day of the wedding, they had gotten everyone back safely. Hope was still worried about not seeing Luke in couple of days and hours but as she was heading to go get ready with Clary she saw Luke making them go run up to him so they could hug him.

"Luke! Hey, Underhill, it's okay. It's our dad," Clary stated as they stopped the man

"Luke, what happened?" Hope asked with concern

"Well, the Praetor made me inject myself with the Downworld cure but instead of becoming mundane, I became what I was before I turned," Luke explained to his kids

"A Shadowhunter," Hope spoke making him nod

"Yeah, the good news is, I'm back where I belong, working beside you, helping mundanes and Downworlders alike," Luke added with a smile

"Luke, I can't believe it," Clary exclaimed to the man

"I know, right? Look, I have to catch a Portal to Alicante for a debriefing, but I wanted to stop by just so you know that I'm okay," Luke explained to them

"You're better than okay," Hope stated holding his arms

"I am so sorry, that I have to miss your wedding," Luke spoke looking at the blonde

"It's okay, we can celebrate once you come back and then I can show you the pictures," Hope stated to her father

"I just hate that I won't be in any pictures," Luke admitted to the blonde

"We can wait to take pictures," Hope added making him nod

"I love you, girls, I'll catch up with you when I get back," Luke spoke before walking away

Hope kissed his cheek before heading out, she had decided to go visit Hayden's grave since she had always thought that he would be there at her wedding. She had laid a blanket down on the ground and then sat down on it, she started talking when she saw a shadow behind her.

"I figured, you'd be here," Simon spoke as he sat down next to her

"Yeah, It's been a while since I had been out here," Hope admitted to her best friend

"I always that it would be the four of us left standing," Clary admitted taking a seat as well

"He would yell at us if he saw us right now," Hope stated to her friends

"Yeah, he was never one for feelings," Simon agreed with a chuckle

"Well, he can suck it up because we love him," Clary added making them chuckle

"Is it me or am I getting married in two hours?" Hope asked her best friends

"So hard to believe," Simon joked causing Hope to punch his shoulder

"Hey, that's really mean," Hope joked before they helped her up

"Let's go get you hitched," Clary remarked to the two

Clary and Izzy had helped Hope get ready, The nerves were starting to kick in as she put on her wedding dress. She loved Alec but she hated public speaking, Maryse had come in to help the girls with her hair. The next thing she knew, she was holding Alec's hand at the alter wearing a wide smile that mirrored his own. Maryse had walked Hope down the aisle and Hope loved how she rubbed her back in comfort as they walked

"The love I have for you is a love that knows no bounds, in times of joy as well as sadness, in sickness and in health..." Alec and Hope spoke at the same time

"I will love you as my equal," Alec spoke while looking at Hope

"And protect you above all else," Hope spoke looking at Alec

"I will share with you my truest feelings," Alec stated with a soft smile

"And when you speak, I will listen," Hope stated in return

"I will catch you when you fall," Alec stated wearing a smile

"And when you soar, I will help you reach your greatest heights," Hope spoke with a nod

"Hope Blakely..." Alec spoke stepping closer to her

"Alexander Gideon Lightwood..." Hope stated coming closer

"I am and will always be your loving Husband and Wife," Alec and Hope spoke at the same time

"It is my honor to pronounce you one," The officiator spoke

"I love you, Sunshine," Alec mumbled before kissing her

"I love you, more," Hope mumbled once they pulled away

Hope and Alec walked back down the aisle as everyone cheered for them, Hope was a bit sad that Luke couldn't be there to walk her down but she loved how perfect it was. Once the night was over, Clary told them that she was losing her runes and memories as a punishment. Hope and Alec went on thier honeymoon the next day which is what Hope swore she had needed.
