𝗙𝗶𝗳𝘁𝘆-𝗙𝗶𝘃𝗲, 𝗔𝗸𝘂 𝗖𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗮 𝗞𝗮𝗺𝘂

Hope was later told that Luke was let out of jail due to the Prator wolves, Hope had gone over to his new apartment to see him and to see how he was doing now that he was out. She had a huge smile on her face as he opened the door, he chuckled when he saw her holding out Starbucks.

"You look good for someone who just spent three weeks in prison," Hope joked with her father

"Thank you for the coffee," Luke spoke as he let her in

"I can't have any but I can watch you drink that and live through you," Hope remarked with a chuckle

"Did you and Alec have that dinner last night?" Luke questioned causing her to sigh

"No, he saw how tired I was and told me that we could reschedule for another night," Hope explained making him scoff

"You two keep putting off this date night and then you won't be able to," Luke stated to his daughter

"Why is Alec and I having a date so urgent to you?" Hope questioned with concern

"That's for me to know and for you to figure out," Luke stated with a sigh

"Have you gone and visited Hayden's grave?" Hope asked in whispered

"Have you?" Luke countered the blonde

"I've been putting it off seeing how I know the second I go then that means that he's really gone," Hope admitted to her father

"How about we go together?" Luke suggested making her nod

"I think that would be better," Hope answered with a soft smile

They had decided to go to the grave, Hope had learned that Clary broke Jothan out and went to the dark side. She had decided to do things one step at a time, she and Luke had gone to see the grave before going to help look for Clary.

"This is weird, just talking to a headstone," Hope admitted to the man

"We're not talking to a headstone, we're talking to Hayden," Luke corrected her

"I was never good at this kind of thing, Luke," Hope reminded the werewolf

"I know but think of it as talking to your brother at the cafe like you two used to do while I talked to Alaric at the next table," Luke suggested looking at her

"Can we put the lights on it?" Hope asked pulling out her bag

"We got them for a reason," Luke added making her chuckle

"Do you know how long it's been since I came to see them and it took Hayden dying for me to come back here, they'd be so disappointed," Hope spoke with tears

"Hey, they are proud of you no matter what you think," Luke stated as he hugged her

"I'm unmarried and pregnant," Hope deadpanned with a scoff

"With their grandbabies and mine and Hayden would be proud of you too," Luke spoke as he wiped her eyes

Hope nodded her head before they sat down and started talking like he was still there, Luke had gotten a text from Simon asking if he could get something for them.

"We got here as soon as we could," Hope stated as they walked in

"Where's Cleophas?" Izzy asked confused

"Not gonna make it, after she helped Clary summon Ithuriel so when he died, I guess part of her died too," Luke explained to the two

"So, now it's just us and a rock?" Simon remarked to the man

"And these," Hope spoke pulling up the bag

"Cleophas's tools," Izzy spoke opening the bag

"With them, she said you could forge a new sword with the same power as Glorious," Luke informed watching her

"Lilith said that stabbing Jonathan with Glorious would sever the ties between him and Clary," Simon added in support

"To re-forge Glorious, she said you need to mix the alloys that you extracted with molten Adamas and an angelic binding agent," Luke explained to them

"What's the angelic binding agent?" Izzy questioned in return

"We're gonna need Jace for that, it's angel blood, and he's got Ithuriel's," Hope explained to the shadowhunter

"Jace just left on a mission to find Clary and Jonathan," Izzy informed with a sigh

"I guess we're gonna have to call in our pinch-hitter," Luke added looking at Simon

"That's right! You drank Jace's blood and became a Daylighter, which means you still have traces of Ithuriel's blood in your system," Izzy explained to the vampire

"Will this involve a needle?" Simon asked with worry

"You'll be okay," Hope whispered to her best friend

Hope rubbed Simon's shoulder in comfort as they rolled up his sleeve and then started to take some blood. Hope had gone home since her pains started to kick in as she walked with Luke and the others. Jace had lost Clary which meant they weren't able to bring her back today but they were still going to try to get her. Hope had grown to the peace of Hayden being gone, she still missed him but she knew that he was in a better place with thier mother and father.
