𝗙𝗶𝗳𝘁𝘆-𝗦𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻, 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲

Hope was with Alec in his office trying to come up with a way to get Magnus back, they were missing thier friend. Maryse had come in and sighed when she saw the two standing out at his desk reading through old books and files.

"Have you eaten yet?" Maryse asked as she held out a bag of food

"No," Alec responded to his mother

"Sweetheart, it's okay to take some time to mourn, Magnus' bravery saved Alicante. His sacrifice is the only thing that allowed the Clave to successfully banish those remaining wraiths," Maryse spoke in a soft tone

"Magnus is not dead," Hope reminded the woman

"He is in Edom and we all know that he can't ever come back home, the rift would reopen and all of Edom would come back with him," Maryse explained to the two

"I'm going to find a way and I'm going to get him back," Alec warned his mother

"We have a wedding to plan then an appointment to get to," Hope spoke before they walked out

Hope had started planning thier wedding since they decided they they wanted it before she had gotten any bigger from the pregnancy, Hope had called Luke to see if he was okay to talk about some things but he never answered or never called back.

"Still nothing back from Luke?" Alec asked as he came out of thier room

"Nope, I'm starting to get worried even though he's probably okay," Hope admitted fiddling with her ring

"I'm sure he's okay," Alec comforted the blonde

"We have our twenty-four-week checkup today," Hope reminded with a smile

"It won't be long before we get to meet them," Alec reminded as he touched her belly

"I hope they have your eyes," Hope stated causing him to shake his head

"Your eyes are way prettier through," Alec deadpanned as she rolled her eyes

"At least one of them has to get your hair color if they get my eye color then," Hope stated in return

"Black hair with blue eyes, that seems like an unusual combo," Alec commented to his girlfriend

"Let's have this discussion after so we're not late for our appointment," Hope remarked patting his chest

Hope was excited to see them again and so was Alec, he admitted he was a little worried when he first found out but he knew that he loved them from the first time he went to an appointment. After thier appointment, Alec had gotten a call that Izzy had gotten hurt and they went to see if she was okay.

"I didn't set her on fire, we were just kissing, and then..." Simon rambled as they walked

"When did that happened?" Hope asked her best friend

"You were kissing my sister?" Alec asked in an offended voice

"I mean, she was kissing me, too," Simon mumbled as well

"Easy, big brother," Izzy stated as she hugged him

"Izzy, I was so worried," Alec spoke as they pulled away

"Is everything all right?" Hope asked they hugged

"Just some temporary side effects, but I'm gonna be fine," Izzy explained to the group

"Thank the Angel, what, am I not allowed to say that?" Simon asked as Izzy backed up

"Izzy, hey, are you okay?" Jace asked as they walked up

"We came as soon as we heard," Clary stated as they hugged

"Great, hugs for everybody else," Simon remarked as he was feeling left out

"Simon, the heavenly fire, from when the sword exploded, until it leaves my system, I can't touch anyone with demon blood," Izzy explained to the vampire

"For how long? Are we talking days, weeks, months?" Simon questioned the girl

"I don't know but I'm gonna be fine, okay? It's manageable," Izzy explained some more

"What is going on here?" Jace asked crossing his arms

"Isabelle and Simon were kissing when this happened," Hope explained to the blonde

"What?" Jace asked before Izzy sighed

"Please tell me you have a lead on Jonathan," Izzy pleaded with the two

"Yeah, we tracked down a mid-level demon known for associating with the Clave on Wall Street, he didn't have any information on Jonathan," Jace explained before looking at Clary

"But he did have news on Lilith," Clary added in a soft tone

"What kind of news?" Alec asked the redhead

"She's gathering an army to take down Magnus," Clary responded looking at him

"She'll kill him," Hope remarked crossing her arms

"And if she does, the rift will reopen," Jace added aswell

"He sacrificed everything to save us, if he's going up against Lilith, I have to be there with him," Alec stated causing Clary to shake her head

"Alec, you know that if any of us went to Edom, we'd die instantly," Clary reminded the shadowhunuter

"The atmosphere is demonic, but maybe I can go, my heavenly fire might protect me," Izzy suggested to her brother

"No, only someone with demon blood can survive there, Simon," Alec stated making Simon look at him

"I don't have my mark anymore, but I'm sure if you give me enough swords, maybe I can..." Simon trailed off in thought

"No, I need you to turn me into a vampire so I can go," Alec stated to Simon

"What? Alec, are you out of your mind?" Hope asked her boyfriend

"What else am I supposed to do? Please, just let me try this," Alec pleaded with them

"Absolutely not," Izzy stated in return

"Izzy and Hope's right, i'm a terrible sire," Simon added in support of the girls

"We'll find another way," Clary stated in defense

"What other way? Huh? Tell me. Tell me something, any of you?" Alec asked between the group

"Stay safe, think clearly, and Come home to me," Hope whispered to Alec before kissing him

"I love you," Alec whispered once they pulled away

Hope watched as Alec walked off, she was worried about him but she knew it was best to just let him do his thing and it'll work out in the end. Luke still hadn't called or texted her back which made her worried but she knew she had to manged her worry and stress levels to keep the babies safe. Alec had told her that they was all going to go get Magnus where she nodded and kissed his cheek and told him to be safe and for him to come back in one piece.
