𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗿, 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗹

Hope stood in her room hanging up some pictures that she had taken a few weeks before. She heard a knock on her door to see Alec standing there waiting for her to notice him, She smiled and put the stack of pictures down on her dresser as he walked inside the room.

"Settling in nicely then?" Alec asked as she nodded

"I know that it's only for a few days but it was looking a little plain and I got bored," Hope explained to him

"Did you take these?" Alec asked pointing to the photos

"Yeah, Clary got me the camera for my sixteenth birthday," Hope answered making him smile

"They look good," Alec added to the blonde

"So are we friends? Because, you seem to dislike Clary, Simon, and Hayden but you talk to me," Hope wondered to the archer

"I'd say that we're friends, what were you calling it?" Alec questioned making her sigh

"I wasn't calling it anything without asking you since that would be assuming," Hope added before he nodded

Alec just looked at Hope making her draw in a breath from the eye contact, her mind started racing when she realized that he was leaning in. Their lips met causing Hope to wrap her hand around his neck to pull him closer as he wrapped his arms around her waist before a scoff broke them apart.

"So, I come to tell you that we're leaving and you're in here eating his face," Hayden scolded his sister

"First of all, No one says that anymore, and second of all, we're not leaving," Hope stated before he scoffed

"Yeah, we are especially now that you kissed him," Hayden stated while starting to pack

"Can you just back up for a second, why are we leaving, and why wasn't I there when you decided that?" Hope questioned taking her bag back

"I was coming in here to discuss it with you but it became decided when I walked in on that," Hayden warned before Alec came closer

"You don't make choices for her," Alec stated to the boy

"You either come with me and Simon or we leave you here," Hayden added looking at his sister

"You promised me that you'd never leave me," Hope reminded with sadness lacing her voice

"I lied," Hayden said before walking out

Hope didn't say anything as tears started flowing, Alec pulled her into his arms and started rubbing her back to help comfort her. After a while, Hope calmed down before getting dressed and ready to go join the others in trying to help Clary find her memories and save her mom Hope wasn't sure if she wanted to go but Clary and Isabelle had convinced her. Hope looked at the top on her and it was a bit extra than she would normally wear but she had to deal with it.

"Did my sister let you borrow that top, sunshine?" Alec questioned as he came in

"That obvious?" Hope asked with a chuckle

"It's not your style," Alec added making her nod

"I tried to tell her that but you know your sister," Hope explained as he chuckled

"Trying to pull her away from certain outfits is difficult," Alec agreed with the blonde

"I noticed when I tried to convince away from this top," Hope joked making him laugh

"If it's any consolation, I think you look good," Alec charmed making her smile

"You clean up nice aswell, Alec," Hope greeted with a warm smile

She finished getting ready as she talked to Alec who was waiting on her bed, She wasn't certain if she should be going along with them as she wasn't one of them but Alec convinced her otherwise.

"All clear," Jace informed once he came back out

"Do you think red's my color?" Isabelle asked the girls who nodded

"Iz, with a body like yours, everything's your color," Clary responded to the girl

"Good point, damn, I make this necklace look so good," Isabelle charmed as she looked at the necklace

"Will you take it off? I'm certain Magnus Bane doesn't want drool on his ruby when we make the exchange," Alec scolded the girl beside him

"You know, I wouldn't be so sure, most men like it when I admire their jewels," Isabelle remarked with a smirk

"Can you just give it to Jace?" Alec asked his sister

"You're such a buzzkill," Isabelle remarked with a chuckle

"Blend in but keep your weapon ready," Jace directed before he and Clary walked off

"I'm going to go get a water, want anything?" Hope asked the Lightwood siblings who shook their heads

She sat in a chair off to the side so no one would talk to her, Shortly after Alec came and got her as they were leaving. She followed them outside where they seemed angry but Clary seemed sad and lost which caused the blonde to hug her best friend. After, a failed attempt to get Clary her memories back they went back to the compound.

"Can I come in?" Hope asked as she stood at Alec's door

"Sure, I was just getting ready to go to bed," Alec responded while she came in

"I wanted to talk about the kiss, earlier," Hope admitted as she sat down beside him on his bed

"Ah, the awkward after-kiss talk," Alec joked to lighten the mood

"Things went from zero to sixty real fast today," Hope added while he nodded

"I'm not sorry for kissing you and I kissed you because I wanted to," Alec admitted making her smile

"So it wasn't an 'in wasn't the moment' kind of mistake?" Hope questioned as she watched him

"Do you think it was a mistake?" Alec countered making her sigh

"No, I don't think that it was a mistake but I do think that maybe it shouldn't be again as this is just temporary for right now," Hope spoke as she looked down at her hands

"Yeah, I get that," Alec agreed before she sighed

He had turned on some TV which they watched before they both fell asleep while watching, Hope knew that she would probably fall asleep watching Star Wars but it was the only thing that sounded not so boring at the time.
