Hope was thinking that she would go into labor the next morning but nope the twins had other plans seeing how it was two-thirty in the morning. Hope was trying to shake Alec awake as she timed her contractions like she was supposed to. Alec had finally gotten up after she tossed her pillow at him, and he spent the next ten minutes running around the house trying to get everything together.

"Alec, you've got to calm down because your stressing is causing me to stress," Hope scolded her husband

"I'm sorry, I'm just excited to meet them," Alec defended himself

"I am too but we both know that we have more than enough time to freak out once they are actually coming," Hope explained to the man

"Yeah, you've got a point but that still doesn't take away the fact that we're about to be parents and a family of four," Alec reminded with a smile

"No more kids after this," Hope stated causing him to chuckle

"You're the one doing all the heavy lifting, you get say, Sunshine," Alec spoke as he rubbed her belly

"I love you," Hope whispered before they kissed

"I love you, more," Alec responded as he rested his forehead on hers

"Should we come back another time or?" Jace asked as they were standing there

"Cause, Simon was going to get another teddy bear so we can go there if you need more time," Clary responded to her sister

"You guys are fine but my whole lower side is gonna be on display soon so I'd leave soon when that time comes," Hope remarks to the group

"She can only have two visitors and she won't tell who the other one is," Alec added making Hope chuckle

"I'm not even sure if he's going to make it," Hope remarked in response

"I made it," Luke stated as he walked in

"Thank God, I thought it was just going to be me and him," Hope remarked as she hugged him

"I brought you something to eat afterward," Luke added making her smile

"That is why I wanted you here," Hope joked with her father

The nurse had come in which made everyone leave the room since it was game time, Hope swore up and down that she couldn't do it then Alec told her that she could and that he believed in her. Alec had left the room to go and get everyone as it was only them in the room when she was giving birth. She held their baby boy and girl in her arms as the door opened.

"Oh, Hope they are so beautiful," Maryse greeted her daughter

"Let's hope she doesn't take after Alec," Jace remarked to the woman

"Oh haha, you're not holding her now," Alec scolded making Jace roll his eyes

"I got you bud," Simon comforted bringing Jace into his arms and making them chuckle

"So what's thier names?" Luke asked his daughter

"We are so happy you asked that but let's do God-Parents first yeah?" Alec suggested to the man

"These ones are obvious but Izzy and Clary are the God-Mothers," Hope explained making them nod

"And since I didn't have a say in this, Simon she picked you as God-Father for baby girl but I did pick you, Jace," Alec remarked making Hope smack him

"We both picked you two," Hope corrected her husband

"Now the names?" Izzy questioned making Alec nod

"Everyone meet, Jayden Maxwell and Josephine Mae Lightwood," Hope spoke showing the twins

"We combined, yours and Hayden's names," Alec explained looking at Jace

"We love thier names," Maryse spoke to her kids

"And we love you," Luke added making them smile

Everyone had left so they could spend thier own time with the twins, Hope was so in love with her babies and she loved how Alec was acting with them. She finally felt at peace with everything that had happened, her small little family.
