Clary was put on death row for her answers and Hope was stressed since she was about to lose her sister, Luke and Hayden weren't back yet from getting Clary, and Jace wasn't back. Hope had gone to Magnus' apartment to help him since he knew that helping him was keeping her mind off of those facts and it gave her something to help out with.

"You're the head of the Institute, can't you demand to know what happened with Clary?" Hope asked in a desperate voice

"I've tried, the Council is freezing me out," Alec responded to the blonde

"Sorry to interrupt," Magnus spoke as he walked in

"Magnus," Hope greeted with a soft smile

"It looks like someone needs a coffee," Izzy joked looking at him

"Oh, no thank you, I already had six, so, I was up all night researching the dark magic that Lilith has been using on Jace and I may have found a way to free him," Magnus admitted to the group

"What? How?" Alec asked with shock

"Based on Magnus' descriptions, it seems Lilith has Jace locked in some kind of a mental cage, and the only solution is breaking that cage by blasting Jace with enough magic to eviscerate her presence," Magus explained some more

"Do you have the power to do that?" Hope asked the warlock

"No, but I will, in the Book of the White, I found a synthesis spell that'll allow me to temporarily channel the magic of other warlocks," Magnus added in support

"How many warlocks?" Izzy asked looking up at him

"I'll need at least about a dozen to match Lilith's strength, I'll have to call in some favors, but this should work. There's just one tiny catch, we'll need the High Warlock's permission to organize something on this scale," Magnus explained to the three

Hope looked at Izzy and Alec before excusing herself to go get something to snack on since she was getting hungry, she was letting them work things out on her own since she knew that there wasn't much she could do. Alec was talking to the new high warlock while Izzy stood outside with Hope who was snacking on chips.

"I'm excited to be an aunt," Izzy spoke with a soft smile

"I'm excited to be a mom," Hope spoke making Izzy chuckle

"I've never seen you eat chips before," Izzy commented causing Hope to roll her eyes

"Hayden was always the one who snacked but this baby has been making me snack even more than Hayden which is concerning," Hope rambled earning a chuckle

"Well, that baby is part Alec so you might wanna prepare for a crazy baby," Izzy joked with the blonde

"Alec gives girl dad energy," Hope commented to the girl

"True but imagine a mini Alec running around," Izzy added as well

"Double trouble," Hope joked with a chuckle

"Are you guys talking about Alexander?" Magnus questioned as he walked up to them

"No, we are talking about Alec and our unborn child," Hope remarked with a smirk

"I think it's a girl but a boy would be nice too," Izzy added in response

"One child at a time but if I had to guess then I'm picking a boy," Hope responded as the door opened

They all stopped talking when they saw Alec and Lorenzo standing there with a look on thier faces, Hope had gotten a text from Hayden telling her that he and Luke had picked Clary over the pack and they were on thier way to get her. She shared a look with the others before heading off to meet them, but they had a different idea as they told her that Simon might need her just as much as Clary did.

"I can't imagine what you're going through," Hope admitted in a soft tone

"After what Heidi did, what I did," Simon excused looking at her

"This isn't your fault, Heidi manipulated and tortured you," Izzy defended his actions

"But I'm the one who fed on my own sister," Simon stated in a solemn tone

"Becky will be okay, she just needs a transfusion," Izzy explained to the boy

"I tried to live a normal life but there's nothing normal about me anymore. The way my mom looked at me, she was right, I'm a monster," Simon remarked making Hope shake her head

"No, you're not, you're a good man, Simon Lewis," Izzy spoke patting his shoulder

"And we're gonna get through this, together," Hope stated before hugging him

Izzy and Hope hugged him since they felt he needed it, the trio ended up watching a show and talking to calm the mood and take the young vampire's mind off of what had happened and what his mother said about him.
