𝗙𝗶𝗳𝘁𝘆-𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲, 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲

Hope was getting ready for the day as Alec was in the living room doing his own thing, she walked back into the living room after putting in her earrings. She chuckled when she saw him humming as he read the baby book. They had thier twenty-week checkup yesterday and they had got to see how much they were growing and how strong thier heartbeat was, Hannah could tell that they both needed to hear some good news.

"Someone is in a good mood today," Hope joked as she saw her boyfriend

"So, I was thinking we could have dinner tonight, on the balcony, view of the city, the head chef can prepare something special," Alec explained to the blonde

"Oh, how romantic, does that mean that I can ask what the occasion is?" Hope questioned her boyfriend

"There's no occasion, I just thought it would be nice. What? I can't do something nice with my girlfriend?" Alec asked making her chuckle

"Oh, I am one lucky girl," Hope spoke while looking at him

"Not as lucky as I am, okay, I'll see you tonight at eight o'clock!" Alec charmed her before leaving

"You know, you're my third favorite Lightwood," Hope stated causing him to nod

"Whose, the first two?" Alec asked before she held her belly

"Maybe, two little Shadowhunters to be," Hope remarked before walking off

Hope was out looking for a place for them to live since they were about to outgrow her apartment, Luke had offered her to go live in his place but she didn't want to kick him out once he had gotten out of jail. She guessed that they could stay there just until they got thier money and time up for a new place.

"I thought I told you that I didn't want you to come see me anymore," Luke reminded as he looked at her

"It seems that I spent most of my time with Hayden and now I have all this time that I don't know what to do with," Hope explained to the man

"Yeah, I get what you mean," Luke admitted to the blonde

"We went for a check-up, do you wanna see the pictures?" Hope asked with a wide smile

"Oh, would you look at how big they are getting," Luke spoke while looking at the pictures

"I know, my back is starting to hurt a lot more here recently from them growing," Hope joked with a chuckle

"A warm press should help with that," Luke added causing her to nod

"Alec planned this big dinner thing but do you think that he would mind if we stayed in since I'm in pain?" Hope questioned the werewolf

"A night out before the babies come would be nice, wouldn't it?" Luke asked causing her to o sigh

"Yeah, it would be but I don't feel like dressing up and putting on heels," Hope explained to her father

"Then, I'm sure that he doesn't mind you wearing sweats and a hoodie," Luke added to his daughter

"I should go get prepared then," Hope remarked before grabbing her bag

"Love you," Luke added with a smile

"Love you, more," Hope responded with a matching smile

Hope walked out the door before saying goodbye one more time, she had gone back to the apartment and started to clean up since she had been putting it off as she was hurting. Alec had come back with sunflowers since he knew it was her favorite flower.

"Aw, flowers and dinner?" Hope asked as she walked up to him

"What can I say besides, you deserve it and more," Alec charmed making her roll her eyes

"What has gotten into you?" Hope asked running her hand down his shirt

"I just love you," Alec responded before kissing her and she pulled away

"Your babies have been sitting on my bladder and my spine all day," Hope stated holding her belly

"They are growing," Alec defended the twins

"Yeah, on my bladder and spine," Hope remarked causing him to chuckle

"How about we skip my fancy dinner and just watch Teen Wolf," Alec suggested causing her to shake her head

"But you worked so hard for tonight," Hope convinced him

"There is always tomorrow or next week," Alec convinced aswell

Hope finally gave in once he mentioned snacks, she went and laid down on the couch pulling up the show as he made popcorn and snacks. Hope felt bad about him canceling the dinner that he had planned all day, she rubbed her belly as she watched the previews and ads.
