Hope walked downstairs from the dorm to see Clary, Jace, and Alec talking which made her walk over to them. An alarm started to go off making everyone pause and start to gather thier weapons before they saw a bloody Simon being carried in making Hope and Clary rush up to him and Raphael.
"Oh, my God, Simon!" Clary called out to the boy
"I might be a vampire but I was raised a good Catholic," Raphael admitted to the girls
"The vampires breached the Accords killing Simon is grounds for war," Isabelle reminded the vampire
"The vampires were not behind this, just Camille, she attacked Simon on her own," Raphael explained to the girl
"And how do we know you're telling the truth?" Hope asked with narrow eyes
"I could have gotten rid of him, but instead, I brought him here, I don't want trouble with the Shadowhunters," Raphael admitted in return
"Smart decision," Jace commented to the boy
"I warned the mundane to stay away but Camille gave him a taste of her own blood, and like an addict, he came back wanting more," Raphael added before Hope scoffed
"The only reason Simon ever tasted Camille's blood is because of you, you kidnapped us! You drug us to Hotel DuMort and you delivered him to Camille!" Hope shouted coming closer to him
"I never meant for this to happen but there is a way," Raphael admitted in return
"A way to what?" Clary questioned in confusion
"A way to bring Simon back," Raphael informed making the girls look at him
"You can do that? How? How?" Clary asked looking at him
"He's fledgling, it's a state of transition and your friend can be resurrected," Raphael explained making Jace shake his head
"Clary, no," Jace whispered to her
"So we could have Simon back? Alive and breathing?" Hope questioned crossing her arms
"That's just it, he won't return alive or breathing. He'll be a vampire," Raphael responded making Jace step forward
"And not the sexed-up, romantic kind, the ugly, bloodsucking, coffin-dwelling kind," Jace remarked earning a scoff
"That's offensive, coffin implies a wooden box. We have caskets now, they're made of 14-karat gold," Raphael scolded the blonde
"My bad," Jace whispered under his breath
"It's almost sunrise, Simon must be turned into a vampire tonight or staked through the heart," Raphael added looking back at the redhead
"And if I do neither?" Clary asked looking back at Simon's body
"His soul will be trapped for eternity, you have till sunset to decide and the clock is ticking," Raphael added before leaving
