Summary:
Dispite his embarrassment of fainting in the middle of a Paris museum, in front of all his friends no less. All Charlie really wants is a hug from Nick.

It takes Charlie a few seconds to register that Mr Ajayi is talking to him. He's still sat on the floor, Nick wrapped around him protectively from where he must have lowered Charlie to the floor when he fainted.
He puts on his best fake 'I'm okay' smile as he meets Mr Ajayi's eyes, though he can tell the man doesn't believe it for a second "i just got a little hot, i also didnt realise that i'm hungry" he says, lying through his teeth because he's been ignoring how his stomach has been screaming at him ever since he gave nick the rest of his ice cream.
Mr Ajayi and Mr Farouk both give him long hard looks, before nodding. A plan is made for him to have something to eat and drink, whilst the others continue exploring the muesem. The two teachers wait until he and nick are back on their feet again, before Mr Farouk heads off to get food and Mr Ajayi leads him and nick, because Charlie doesnt want to do this on his own, to a secluded spot away from all the hustle and bustle of the museum.
It isn't until Mr Ajayi is a few steps ahead of them that Charlie stops for a few seconds, trying to pluck up the courage to ask Nick if he can have a hug. Nick, his wonderfully observant Nick, notices that he's stopped and looks at him in concern "Char? Are you still feeling light headed?" He asks, stepping closer just in case Charlie were to faint again.
This brings a small genuine smile onto Charlie's face as he shakes his head. Nick continues watching him closely as he takes a deep breath "its just" he begins, quiet and nervous "i could really use a hug right now" he finally says, when Nick smiles that soft smile that means hes listening and ready to do whatever he can to help charlie through this moment.
Nick's eyes show understanding, before he opens his arms and charlie allows himself to fall into them. They stay wrapped together for a few long seconds, Nick not pulling away until Charlie does. Charlie gives him a thankful smile when Nick looks at him in cautious curiosity to make sure he's okay, before they make their way hand in hand to where Mr Ajayi is waiting for them.
