"Sometimes all I think about is you."It had been two months since Miyeon started at the university, and though her days had been filled with the usual classes and routine, one unsettling event had persisted since her arrival: the letters. Every week, without fail, she received a handwritten note.
At first, she dismissed them, thinking they were harmless—maybe even a misguided gesture of admiration. But with each new letter, her unease grew. The person behind them claimed to adore her, praising her hair, her eyes, her smile.
Each one seemed more personal than the last. Seven letters so far, and every time she prayed there wouldn't be another. Yet, they kept coming.
As she entered the nearly empty classroom, Miyeon wasn’t surprised by the quiet. There were still fifteen minutes before class started, and she had always preferred to arrive early. It gave her a moment to settle in, to breathe, before the chaos of the day began.
But today, something felt off. Her heart tightened as she approached her desk and spotted a crumpled piece of paper lying atop it.
Her eyes darted around the room— no one else seemed to be paying attention. With hesitation, she picked up the note, her fingers trembling slightly as she unfolded it.
The message was brief, but chilling:
____________
'Yesterday after your class I saw you laughing with him. I Don't like it.'
____________
The words echoed in her head as her stomach churned. Was this about Taehyung?
She recalled laughing with him the day before, after class. It seemed innocent enough, but now… someone had been watching. This wasn’t just admiration anymore. It was invasive. Someone was following her, watching her every move, and that realization made her skin crawl.
As she stood frozen, re-reading the note, a hand gently landed on her shoulder, jolting her from her thoughts. She flinched, the movement so sudden that the person withdrew their hand quickly. She turned to find Jeonghan standing behind her, his hands raised in a gesture of surrender.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you,” he said, his voice soft but laced with unexpected concern, “I did call your name a few times before, you just didn’t hear me.”
Miyeon quickly stuffed the crumpled note into her pocket, trying to hide her unease. Jeonghan’s gaze lingered on her pocket for a moment, suspicion flickering in his eyes.
“Yeah, it’s fine,” she replied, her voice a little too forced, “You just caught me off guard, that’s all.”
Jeonghan circled the desk and took the seat beside her, his presence making her shift slightly, creating some distance between them. He pretended not to notice, though his eyes held a hint of curiosity.
“You’re here early,” he observed, setting his bag down on the table. His tone was casual, but Miyeon could feel him studying her.
“I could say the same about you,” she shot back, avoiding his gaze. Her mind was still on the note, but she couldn’t let him see how unsettled she was.
He chuckled lightly, clearly amused by her retort. “Fair point. I just woke up earlier than usual today. That’s all. What about you?”
Miyeon shrugged, letting out a smile. “I prefer being early. Better than rushing in late and apologizing.”
Jeonghan raised an eyebrow, intrigued. “That’s... an interesting take. I mean, I get it, but being early? Not really my style.”
She glanced at him, puzzled. “Why not?”
He leaned back in his chair, a mischievous grin playing on his lips. “If I came early, I’d be like everyone else. Just another face in the crowd. I’d rather stand out. Be different.”
Miyeon couldn’t help but shake her head, half-amused. “That’s a strange way of thinking, but I guess it suits you.”
Jeonghan gave her a playful wink. “You should try it sometime. Being late could add a bit of mystery to your life. I'm sure you felt nice after coming Kate to Professor Kang’s class the previous day.”, he teased.
She cringed, scrunching her nose in mock disgust. “Why don’t you try being early for once? See what it feels like to be normal.”
He laughed, turning his attention back to the front of the room. For a moment, the tension lifted, and Miyeon found herself smiling. It was a welcome distraction from the lingering discomfort of the note.
But as Jeonghan chuckled, the brief flicker of amusement in his eyes dimmed, and his thoughts wandered back to that crumpled paper. He couldn’t shake the feeling that something was wrong.
There was a sense of déjà vu creeping over him, something familiar about the secrecy in Miyeon’s quick movement to hide the note. He wondered if it was just a simple piece of paper, or if it carried something more— something he might need to worry about.
His instincts told him to ask, but he decided against it. After all, it could have been anything. Perhaps she was just passing a love note to someone. Maybe it was innocent, or maybe...
Jeonghan cast another glance at Miyeon, who had turned her focus to her notebook, pretending to scribble something down. He couldn't help but feel uneasy. The past had a way of repeating itself, and none of them could afford for it to happen again. Not after what had already occurred.
He made a mental note to talk to his friends later. Something about this didn’t sit right with him, and he had a feeling it wasn’t just an illusion of his imagination.

Here is a short but important chapter for you all <3
What do you think Jeonghan meant by 'Again'?
I could only afford to write this for now and forgive me for taking too long. I have my important exams coming and that is saying something because I just got over with some previously lol.
I'll try my best to update whenever i get time though!
