'I don't wanna look at anything else now that I saw you.'
Coming from a wealthy family was never the major flex in her life. To others, she might come off as a rich spoilt brat but the reality was far from what they perceived her to be.
In a world...

Even after Miyeon left, Jeonghan remained frozen in place, staring at the spot where she had stood just moments ago. The air still carried traces of her rose-scented perfume, but she was gone, leaving behind only an unbearable silence.
His chest felt tight, his throat constricting as if someone had physically ripped the air from his lungs. He blinked, once, twice, but the stinging in his eyes only worsened. He clenched his fists, his nails digging into his palms, desperate to feel something other than the aching hollowness settling deep inside him.
How foolish.
How utterly, painfully foolish of him to believe-even for a second-that she might have chosen him.
He should've known better.
Miyeon had always been meant for greater things. She was destined to stand at the top, to lead, to rule, and he... he had been nothing but a distraction.
Of course, she wouldn't throw everything away for him. Of course, she would choose her responsibilities, her future, over something as uncertain and fleeting as love.
How selfish was he to even wish she would have chosen differently?
He let out a bitter laugh, his fingers running through his hair, gripping at the strands as he tried to shake off the weight crushing down on him.
And yet, despite it all, despite the pain, despite the way she had shattered his heart in mere seconds-he understood her.
He always had.
Because this was Miyeon.
The girl who carried the world on her shoulders, who bore responsibilities far greater than anyone could imagine, who had always been so painfully good at locking away her own happiness for the sake of others.
So even now, even as his heart ached, as he stood alone in this suffocating silence, he couldn't bring himself to resent her.
How could he, when he knew she was hurting too?
Taking a deep breath, Jeonghan finally forced himself to move. His legs felt heavy, his body exhausted from the weight of emotions pressing down on him, but he turned away from the empty space she left behind.
"Jeonghan?"
A soft voice called from the doorway, breaking through the suffocating silence. Instinctively, Jeonghan wiped at his damp cheeks, pushing down the lump in his throat as he turned toward the familiar voice.
Yewon stood there, her expression laced with concern as she hesitated before stepping forward, "I just saw Miyeon walking away from here.", She paused, carefully choosing her next words, "She was crying. Are you two okay?"
Jeonghan let out a quiet scoff, shaking his head. The irony wasn't lost on him. Yewon and Miyeon had never gotten along. And after everything, Jeonghan and Yewon weren't the same either.
