'I don't wanna look at anything else now that I saw you.'
Coming from a wealthy family was never the major flex in her life. To others, she might come off as a rich spoilt brat but the reality was far from what they perceived her to be.

Jeonghan couldn’t look away from her.
Even as she blinked slowly, her eyes still glazed from the medication and exhaustion, her gaze settled on his like it always did. As if she had been looking for him even in her sleep.
His fingers hovered near her cheek, brushing gently against the stray strands of hair sticking to her temple. She was pale. Bruised. Weary. But her lips curled ever so slightly as she looked at him.
"You look awful," she whispered hoarsely.
A breath of laughter escaped him, choked and broken, "You just came back from the dead and that’s your first sentence?"
She smiled faintly, her voice raspy, "Still prettier than you."
He let out another breath, pressing his forehead lightly against her hand where it rested on the blanket, "Don’t ever do that to me again, Miya. Don’t you ever… leave me like that."

"She’s awake?" he asked softly, glancing at the monitors.
Jeonghan stood reluctantly, brushing her hand with his lips once more before straightening, "She just woke up. She’s still a little dazed."
"Understood. I’ll need to check her vitals, make sure there’s no swelling or internal complications.", he looked at Jeonghan with a polite nod, "If you don’t mind stepping out for a few minutes?"
Jeonghan hesitated, glancing down at her, and she gave him a tired nod.
"I’ll be right outside," he whispered.
He stepped out of the room just as Wonwoo and Dino came down the hall, carrying a coffee in each hand. They halted as soon as they saw him.
"She’s awake," Jeonghan said softly, voice still thick.
Dino nearly dropped the coffee in happiness, "Really? No kidding?"
"You’re serious?", Wonwoo asked, eyes wide.
Jeonghan gave a small nod, and the flood of relief that hit them both was instant and unfiltered. Dino backed up a step, bracing himself against the wall as his breath caught.
