'I don't wanna look at anything else now that I saw you.'
Coming from a wealthy family was never the major flex in her life. To others, she might come off as a rich spoilt brat but the reality was far from what they perceived her to be.

The gymnasium was thick with silence. The only sounds that filled the vast, empty space were the distant rumbles of thunder and the steady rhythm of raindrops pattering against the windows.
The group sat scattered across the bleachers, each person a portrait of frustration and concern. Their minds raced with the worst of scenarios after the mornings chaos.
Seungkwan sat on the edge, his fingers tapping restlessly on his knees, his mind replaying the panic in Hoshi's voice when he called earlier. Hoshi was sitting across from him, his gaze distant, the usually energetic spark in his eyes nowhere to be found.
He was thinking, just like everyone else—about Miyeon, and the dangerous unknown they were all caught in. But he was also in guilt. Guilt of not looking after her when he should’ve.
Dokyeom, sitting beside Seungcheol, kept glancing at his phone, waiting for any sign, any update, that would give them some clarity on the situation. But it had been hours since Yewon texted Jeonghan that she was bringing Miyeon to the gymnasium, and still, nothing.
Taehyung leaned back against the wall, his arms crossed tightly over his chest, his face set in a firm, unreadable expression. Joshua and Mingyu exchanged worried glances, the weight of the unknown pressing down on them while their minds raced to piece the puzzle together of the mess they were in.
Seungcheol sat at the center of the group, trying to maintain his composure, but it was clear that even he was struggling to keep his cool.
Jeonghan sat motionless, his hands curled into tight fists against his knees, his gaze fixed on the large, empty gymnasium doors. His heart was restless, a heavy weight pressing down on his chest with each passing second.
'Where is she?'
The thought circled his mind like a storm, relentless and suffocating. His pulse thrummed in his ears, drowning out the muffled voices around him.
Miyeon had already been slipping through his fingers, and now? Now, she was somewhere none of them knew of. She was out there somewhere, alone, carrying a burden too heavy for one person.
He felt somewhat responsible.
He thought back to the last time he had truly seen her—not just in passing, not just exchanging empty words, but really seen her. Her distant smiles, the way her eyes seemed clouded with something unsaid, the way she always looked over her shoulder like she was being watched. He always knew about the eerie notes yet he should’ve played closer attention.
'Why didn’t I pay closer attention? Why did I let her push me away so easily?'
The possibility that something might have happened to her gnawed at his insides like a slow, burning fire. Was she safe? Was she crying? Did she think no one cared? Were Yewon and her arguing? The thought twisted painfully in his gut. He cared. More than she would ever know.
