'I don't wanna look at anything else now that I saw you.'
Coming from a wealthy family was never the major flex in her life. To others, she might come off as a rich spoilt brat but the reality was far from what they perceived her to be.
In a world...

The court was still vibrating with cheers when the announcer’s voice echoed overhead, inviting the players to greet their families.
One by one, the girls ran into the stands, crashing into the arms of their loved ones with tear streaked smiles and sweaty jerseys. Miyeon lingered for a moment, watching her teammates fall into embraces, laughter and cries blending into a joyful hum.
Her heart warmed knowing how hard they worked to earn this victory and watching them getting the appreciation they deserved. That's all she ever wanted for her girls.
Then she spotted them, her parents, Mirae, and Dino, standing by the stands, waiting for her and so she ran.
Her father caught her first, wrapping his arms tightly around her like he hadn’t breathed until this moment, "You did it," he whispered, voice shaking with pride, "My brave little girl."
Her mother cupped her face, tears silently streaming as she nodded in awe, "You didn't just win, Miyeon… you made us feel like we won. I'm so proud of you, my sweetheart."
Mirae grinned, throwing her arms around Miyeon’s neck from the side, "You were like… like superman just make it woman! I screamed so hard my throat hurts! I will definitely tell about this to my friends."
Miyeon laughed breathlessly, overwhelmed by the warmth, the security, the pride she felt surrounding her. She looked over Mirae’s head and locked eyes with Dino, who stood quietly, smiling that tiny, proud smile he saved only for her.
"Good jump that was, huh...", he teased, pulling her into a tight embrace.
"Thanks," she grinned hugging him back, "Learnt from the best."
As the two pulled apart, Miyeon looked at him with question, "Where did your father go?", she asked, voice low.
Dino's smile faltered and he shook his head, "Didn’t say where he was going. Left early in the morning."
Miyeon’s heart clenched, "Keep an eye on him, Dino. Something doesn’t feel right."
"Are you hiding something from me, Miya?", he asked, eyes narrowed as if trying to read her like he always did.
"I'll tell you when the time is right...", she hesitated, just for a second, "Just trust me again. "
Before Dino could ask more, a voice, firm, smooth, and unfamiliar, called out behind Mieyon, making her turn.
"Miyeon."
Sohee stood there a wide smile on her face, flushed from the match, with Eunwoo beside her holding her hand. But it was the tall, suited man next to them who drew everyone's attention, Sohee’s father.
He stepped forward, with a soft smile, "That was a hell of a shot at the end," he said, patting Miyeon on the back softly, "Congratulations!"
"Thank you, uncle.", Miyeon took the handshake with a smile but what confused her was the subtle shift in atmosphere between the adults.
