Nabi yawned on the way out, where the dark clouds were already waiting for her. She was sure it would start raining any minute, but it wasn't.

She frowned as her gaze was fixed on the clock on her cell phone.
Today she was up earlier than usual.

Why?
Many thoughts kept her awake during the night, so she couldn't turn a blind eye.

Her sweet thoughts were all about this boy called Sunoo.
Or better Sunshine.
This innocent girl had had this racing heart for the first time, and all because of this pink-haired boy.

What she didn't know was that he was no different.
He couldn't sleep through the night either. His thoughts were all about Nabi. How he wanted to hear her soft voice and imagine her beautiful face.

She buttoned up the lilac-blue jacket she was wearing over her school uniform.
Nabi lifted her backpack over her shoulders and put on her short grey socks.
She actually wanted to wear long socks to school in the cold, but she couldn't find them in her untidy apartment, so she had to make do.

The girl put on her mint-colored headphones and scrolled through her playlist.
Just as she was about to turn on a song, she heard a familiar voice.
At first she thought she had imagined it, so she didn't pay any attention.
But when she heard the male voice again, she put her headphones down, hanging from her arm.

"Nabi!"

She frozed in further shock when she recognized the boy.
Waving, Jungwon caught up with the girl as the glorious sound of his little hiccups echoed in the wind.

"Good morning!"

"G-Good morning."

Recognizing the expression on Nabi's face along with her stutter, she was not prepared for this encounter.

"Ahhh, how I don't feel like going to school today."
Jungwon stretched his arms as he yawned, his previously outstretched arms now resting against the back of his head.

"How about you?"

Nabi was perplexed by his appearance for a while. He came out of nowhere, talking to her like a friend.
That was them, wasn't it?

Her gaze to the ground as her hands clutched at her backpack strap.
"Honestly.."

She lifted her head with a smile, her eyes spotting the path that lay ahead of them.
