As they wandered through the streets of Seoul, Nabi was glued to her phone, a fact that puzzled Sunoo. They had agreed to meet, yet here she was, absorbed in her digital world. Despite his curiosity, every attempt to peek at her screen was deftly thwarted.
"Follow me." she finally ordered softly, breaking the silence that had settled between them.
Curious, the pink-haired boy complied. His eyes sparkled with astonishment as they arrived at their destination: a mint-chocolate café, a place straight out of his sweetest dreams.
Without wasting a moment, he darted towards the display of pastries and ice cream, everything mint-chocolate you could imagine."Can I have this?" Sunoo asked eagerly, pointing at a particularly lavish dessert.
"And this?" His finger moved to another tempting treat.
"Look how cute!" he exclaimed, his excitement undeniable.
Nabi couldn't help but smile, watching him with amusement. "Of course, you can have whatever you like," she beamed, her voice soft and encouraging.
"Really?" his eyes grew even wider, if possible.
"Of course," she affirmed with a bright smile. "You can choose anything you want."
"You're the best!" he exclaimed, his enthusiasm bubbling over as they approached the counter to place their order.
Once seated, he dove into his mint-chocolate dream, each bite eliciting a delighted "Mmm!" His smile broadened, his legs wiggling with joy, while Nabi watched, her head propped on her hand, a dreamy look in her eyes. In that moment, she could almost see the young boy Sunoo used to be, his joy at simple pleasures undimmed by time.
"This is so good!" he declared between bites, his eyes closing in bliss.
She chuckled, her heart full at the sight. "I'm glad you like it."
Nabi reached for Sunoo's camera, which lay forgotten next to his plate. She knew this moment was too precious not to capture. Turning the lens towards him, she began to film.
"And here we have the world's greatest mint-chocolate enthusiast," she narrated, her voice laced with amusement. "Observe how he savors each bite."
Sunoo, momentarily distracted from his treat, looked up, surprise and laughter in his eyes. "Are you documenting my mint-chocolate love affair for posterity?" he asked, his eyebrows raised in mock seriousness.
"Absolutely," she replied with a nod, keeping the camera steady. "Future generations must know of your epicurean adventures."
He chuckled, shaking his head slightly but with a smile that showed he was genuinely touched. "Well, in that case, I better make it look good."
