At school, Nabi and Jungwon often found themselves working together on various assignments. They got along well, and their teamwork felt natural. For Jungwon, it was like a dream come true, being able to spend so much time by her side. He cherished every moment-listening to her voice, seeing her smile occasionally, and just being close to her made his heart race. Every shared laugh or conversation over their work felt priceless to him.

For Nabi, it was comfortable as well. She appreciated Jungwon's calm presence and the ease with which they worked together, but for her, it was simply a productive partnership.

However, Sunoo had started noticing how much time the two spent together. He often caught glimpses of them laughing or talking, and it made his stomach churn. A sense of jealousy gnawed at him, growing stronger with each passing day. It wasn't just that they worked together-it was the way Jungwon looked at her, the way he seemed so absorbed in every little detail of their time together.

Sunoo couldn't help but feel uneasy, and the more he watched them, the more he struggled to suppress his jealousy. He didn't like how close they seemed, and though he trusted Nabi, the thought of Jungwon being around her so much was enough to make his blood boil.

Sunoo's behavior toward Nabi began to change, though at first, it was subtle. He still smiled and joked around her, but there was an underlying tension in his actions that hadn't been there before. When they were alone, he would ask more questions than usual-about her day, about who she'd spent time with, especially if Jungwon's name came up. His usual carefree attitude had been replaced by a quiet unease that she couldn't quite put her finger on.

Whenever she mentioned working with Jungwon, Sunoo's expression would tighten, though he tried to mask it with a casual shrug or forced laugh. "Oh, you're working with Jungwon again?" he'd ask, his tone light, but there was an edge to his words. "You two seem to be spending a lot of time together."

At first, she didn't think much of it, brushing it off as he being protective. But over time, his questions became more pointed. He'd make comments like, "I didn't know you and Jungwon were so close," or "It seems like he's always around you now."

Sunoo also began to subtly compete for her attention. Whenever she mentioned staying after school to work with Jungwon, he would suddenly suggest other plans. "Why don't we grab something to eat after school instead?" he'd say, his voice casual but his eyes hopeful. He seemed to be looking for reasons to keep her away from Jungwon, even if he never said it directly.

When they were in public, Sunoo's usual lightheartedness gave way to quiet frustration. He didn't show it outwardly, but Nabi could sense a shift in his energy. When Jungwon was nearby, Sunoo's gaze would linger on him, his jaw clenched ever so slightly, as if he was trying to hold back what he was really feeling.

One day, while they were walking together after school, Sunoo finally let a bit of his frustration slip. "You know," he said, trying to sound offhanded, "I'm not sure if Jungwon's being completely professional about working with you. I've seen the way he looks at you."
