As they approached Sunoo and Taehyun, Nabi tried to steady her breathing, smoothing her hair and plastering on a small smile. Sunoo’s face lit up as usual when he saw her, but there was something different in his expression—something almost too calm, too calculated.

"Hey!" he greeted, wrapping an arm around her shoulders. "So, how was the ride? Fun?"

Nabi hesitated for a moment, glancing quickly at Jungwon, who kept his gaze firmly on the ground. "It was… good," she said, her voice quieter than usual. She forced a small smile, but it didn’t quite reach her eyes.

Sunoo’s brows furrowed ever so slightly, and though he kept his easy smile in place, his sharp eyes darted between her and Jungwon. He had seen them. He had seen the way Jungwon had held her, the way she hadn’t pulled away, the way she’d been sitting on his lap.

"Good?" Sunoo echoed, his tone light but slightly questioning. "Just good?" His words were casual, but the undertone wasn’t lost on Nabi.

She stiffened slightly, glancing at him nervously. "It was fine," she said quickly, trying to brush it off. "Nothing special."

Sunoo’s smile faltered for just a second, but he recovered almost immediately. "Huh," he said simply, his tone carrying a hint of something she couldn’t quite place. "Interesting."

Jungwon finally looked up, his expression guarded as he met Sunoo’s gaze. For a moment, the air between them felt heavy, as if unspoken words were hanging there, just waiting to be said. But instead of addressing it, Sunoo’s smile widened, almost too bright, and he clapped Jungwon on the shoulder.

"Glad you two had a good time," he said cheerfully, though his hand lingered on Jungwon’s shoulder a beat too long.

Jungwon didn’t flinch, but there was a flicker of something in his eyes—guilt, maybe, or regret. "Yeah," he said simply, his voice quieter than usual.

Nabi glanced between them, the tension making her chest tighten. Sunoo’s demeanor hadn’t changed outwardly, but she could feel the shift in his energy. His arm around her shoulders felt heavier than before, almost as if he were staking a silent claim.

"Let’s move on to the next ride, huh?" Sunoo said, his voice back to its usual brightness. But as they walked, his grip on Nabi’s shoulder tightened slightly, and his eyes flicked toward Jungwon more often than necessary. His thoughts were running wild, jealousy and suspicion gnawing at him, though he forced himself to stay calm. For now.

As they walked through the park, Sunoo kept his usual bright demeanor, joking and laughing with everyone as if nothing was wrong. But inside, his mind was anything but calm. The image of Nabi on Jungwon's lap, the way he had held her so close, replayed over and over in his thoughts, like a looping video he couldn’t turn off.
