But before she could dwell on it, Sunoo guided her toward another group of friends, his excitement infectious as he introduced her to more people. She tried to focus on the moment, on him, but the memory of Jungwon’s pained expression refused to leave her mind.

After some time, Sunoo led Nabi through the party, weaving through groups of people until they reached a small circle of his friends. "Guys, this is Nabi," he said with a proud grin, pulling her slightly closer to his side. "My girlfriend."

The group greeted her warmly, a mix of smiles and friendly hellos, though a few of the girls glanced her over with a curious, perhaps slightly scrutinizing gaze. Nabi offered a small, shy smile in return, feeling a bit out of place but trying her best to stay polite.

One of the guys, a tall, cheerful-looking friend named Woobin, raised an eyebrow as he looked between the two of them. "So this is the girl Sunoo’s been talking about nonstop?" he teased, grinning. "You’re even prettier than he said."

Nabi blushed, glancing down in embarrassment. "Thank you," she murmured, feeling the warmth spread across her cheeks.

Sunoo, however, wasn’t about to let her modesty slide unnoticed. He leaned in closer to her, his hand resting lightly on her waist as he grinned at Woobin. "Of course she’s prettier than I said," he said, his tone playful and confident. "Words don’t do her justice."

Nabi’s eyes widened, and she nudged him lightly with her elbow. "Sunoo," she whispered, her voice a mix of embarrassment and pleading, "don’t say things like that."

He chuckled, clearly enjoying her reaction. "Why not? It’s true," he said casually, turning his attention back to the group. "Isn’t she the cutest when she’s embarrassed?"

The group laughed, and one of the girls, Hyejin, chimed in with a smirk. "She definitely blushes easily. You’re gonna make her melt, Sunoo."

Nabi covered her face with her hands, unable to hide her growing embarrassment. "You’re impossible," she muttered, her voice muffled.

Sunoo laughed softly, gently pulling her hands away from her face so he could look at her. "And you’re adorable," he said, his tone softening slightly as he gazed at her with genuine affection. "But don’t hide. Everyone should see how amazing you are."

The sincerity in his voice only made her blush deeper, and she shook her head, biting back a small smile. "You’re really enjoying this, aren’t you?" she asked, her tone half-exasperated, half-amused.

"Maybe a little," he admitted, his grin widening. "But can you blame me? You’re my girlfriend, and I’m proud of it."

His words made her heart flutter despite her embarrassment, and she found herself smiling despite herself. Even with the teasing and the playful remarks, there was no denying the genuine warmth in his eyes, the way he seemed to light up just by being near her.
