Suddenly it went dark in the whole apartment, not only inside but also the street lights went out. The unexpected blackout enveloped Nabi's apartment in darkness, a stark contrast to the warmth and closeness they had just been experiencing. Her instinctive reaction to the sudden change was one of alarm. She flinched, her body tensing up, her hands instinctively moving to cover her ears. The room, once filled with the soft glow of the television, was now shrouded in an eerie stillness.

Sunoo, sensing her discomfort, tightened his embrace, offering her a sense of security amidst the darkness. His voice, calm and reassuring, broke the silence.
"I'm here with you."

In the pitch black, their senses heightened. They could feel each other's breath, hear each other's heartbeats, creating an intimate atmosphere that was both thrilling and comforting. Nabi's initial fear gradually subsided, replaced by a newfound closeness to Sunoo.

Their faces were mere inches apart, the darkness making their proximity even more palpable. Sunoo's hand, still gently caressing her cheek, provided a comforting warmth. Her grip on his shirt relaxed slightly, yet she didn't let go, finding solace in the physical connection.

The blackout seemed to create a bubble around them, isolating them from the rest of the world. All that existed in that moment were the two of them, lost in each other's presence.

She finally found her voice, though it was barely above a whisper.
"I'm scared of the dark."

"It's okay to be scared," The pink-haired boy replied softly. "I've got you. You're safe with me."

There was a vulnerability in her admission, and the boy felt honored that she felt comfortable enough to share it with him. He continued to hold her, his presence a silent promise of protection.

Slowly, Nabi's fear faded into the background, overshadowed by the warmth and safety she felt with Sunoo. She leaned into his touch, her head resting against his chest, listening to the steady rhythm of his heart. It was a sound that brought her a sense of peace she hadn't known she needed.

"I'll stay with you until the lights come back on, as long as you need me." he whispered softly.

And in that moment, she realized that with Sunoo by her side, it wasn't so scary after all.

"Do you have any candles we can light? Maybe you'll feel calmer."

She nodded, noticeable to him against his chest.

Slowly, she sat down on the couch. The boy stood up, but didn't get far when she grabbed his hand.

"Don't leave me alone.."
