It was the next school day, and Nabi was on her way to the rooftop, seeking a moment of peace. As she walked down the hallway, she heard a voice calling her name. Her heart sank when she realized it was Suho. She turned around and saw not only him but also his friends approaching, their expressions predatory.
Panic surged through her veins, and without thinking, she bolted towards the nearest refuge—the girls' restroom. She burst through the door, her breaths coming in short, sharp gasps. She quickly locked herself in one of the stalls, trying to calm her racing heart.
She could hear the muffled voices of Suho and his friends outside, their footsteps drawing closer. They didn't dare enter the girls' restroom, but their presence was enough to send shivers down her spine.
Nabi pressed her back against the cold tile wall, her mind racing with fear and desperation. She tried to steady her breathing, hoping they would lose interest and leave.

As she opened the stall door and took a tentative step towards the sink, she froze. Standing at the washbasins were Areum and her friends, their expressions smug and menacing.
"Well, well, look who decided to join us," she beamed with a smug grin, her eyes narrowing as she took a step closer.
Nabi's heart pounded in her chest, and she felt the cold grip of fear tighten around her. "I don't want any trouble," she said quietly, trying to keep her voice steady.
Areum laughed, a cold, mocking sound. "Too late for that," she said, her friends closing in around her. "You see, you made a big mistake thinking you could get close to Jungwon." At that moment she received a message from Jungwon that she couldn't look at.
Stay there. I'm coming.
Desperation welled up inside her. "What do you want from me?" she asked, her voice trembling.
Areum's grin widened, her eyes gleaming with malice. "I'm glad you and Sunoo are over, but it bothers me that you're getting close to Jungwon."
