LOGAN'S POV

Saturday schools. Practical classes and sports. We were at the basketball court when Maria entered. Taking everyone by surprise. What is with this girl and following me around? Mickle was still kneeling in front of me, begging for forgiveness. He broke the rule and needed to be punished but when Maria entered the hall. I lost interest in Mickle and Maria took all my attention. There are only three girls in basketball. Bianca and two other girls that I don't give a shit what their names are.

'' This Maria girl is insane '' Max whined

'' Her Confidence is what I don't like '' Victor added

'' Should we tell the couch to send her away '' Lucas asked

'' No '' Bianca who has been silent since we got here said '' let's see what she got ''

'' you want to taste her? '' I asked

'' It would be nice to have another girl with me... but first, I have to see what she can do ''

'' It is irritating that you like her ''

'' I don't whine about the dick heads you hang out with '' I rolled my eyes at her words

''What game do you want '' she smiled

We told the couch what we wanted. There were two teams. Maria headed one team and Victor headed the other. Just like we planned, no one wanted to be on her team. It was one against Nine. '' sir '' Maria raised her hand for questioning

'' What is it? ''

'' This is not a fair game ''

'' Life is not fair sweetheart.. if you don't want to play, you can walk out '' Maria stood for a while. She looked in my direction and flashed that smile

''Let's play '' the game began. At the beginning of the game, Victor's group let their guard down, thinking it would be best to go easy on her but she made them regret their decision. Maria scored two points at a stretch.

'' She is good. Bianca smiled '' the next rounds were not as easy. Maria almost lost her cool when she realized that they were not playing fair while the couch didn't say anything about the matter. She was pushed out of the line by one of the girls and they scored. Maria sat on the ground frustrated. There were two more rounds before the game was over, I could see it on her face that she wanted to give up

'' What is it sweetheart? '' the couch asked '' Tired already, there is no room for laziness on my field ''

'' I need another payer '' she stood up, looking straight at him

'' Well, no one wants to play with you '' he mocked and laughed even if there was nothing funny about what he just said

'' I Do '' A voice out of nowhere spoke. Everyone turned in the direction of the voice to see Gorge. That weird kid who sleeps anywhere, anytime. He was sitting on the floor.'' I want to play with her '' sounding like a kid. And at the sight of him, Maria smiled brightly. I instantly began to boil.

    '' Oh Gorge '' she let out. He worked up to her and they shacked hands

    '' Ok '' the Couched carried a confused tone '' The two of you ''

'' But couch... before we begin '' he stepped forward '' What are the rules of this game ''

'' What?'' confused

'' I am curious because, from my observation, it seems like the only rule here is to win ''

'' Yeah... that is the only rule '' Maria said with eyes on me '' Now quit the questions and let's play '' The game began.
