Chapter 81

I reached the house and I was escorted to the seating room where father held Bianca, Maya and Abigail captive. I never knew we had this amount of guards. Maya was passed out on the ground with her head bleeding while Abigail kneeled next to her crying. Bianca on the other hand, knelt with a rope around her, her mouth tired up and eyes focused on me. She carried a concerned gaze and it melted my heart, knowing that despite she being in danger, she still worried for me.

'' oh welcome,'' Father spreads his hand to welcome me '' Now the family is complete. We should have a chat'' I then noticed it. A gun. I never knew father owned one. I have seen the men around him use a gun but never have I seen him with one. With the weapon in my father's hand, I am reminded of who he is and what he is capable of.

'' I am here now, realise Bianca'' I walked closer and stopped at a good distance

'' Waw, Logan. Just a few seconds ago, you were ready to go after Maria and the moment you saw Bianca you came running back..'' he shakes his head '' Tak, tak, I knew no matter how much you loved that low life, it would never excite the love for you sister I just know you too well''

'' I said let her go''

'' Shut the fuck up'' he yelled. I watched him walk to go sit on his couch close to Bianca '' You thought that all you had to do was come back? You will sit here till midnight until my job is done'' My heart stopped again for a few seconds, knowing what he was talking about. Maria, he has done after Maria.

'' I have told you. Maria wouldn't cause any harm''

'' for fuck sake Logan... I can't believe you trust her... she is just like her father. Would do anything for money. Just like you are like me, Logan... My father and I have walked so hard for this company to get to where it is today and I can't believe you would ruin it for some bitch''

'' and so what if she does? do you think I would blame her'' that is the truth. I wouldn't blame her ''After all that we have caused her, it is only reasonable if she does... for fuck sake you killed her father''

'' He was a threat''

'' No father, you felt threatened... you always do, every little challenge is a threat to you that you have to get rid of... all for what, you foolish selfish reasons.... do you know how many families got ruined because of this god Damn company... for God's sake you killed people just to cover up a fire incidence that was our mistake and accused innocent people for it''

'' Those are sacrifices, Logan... Sacrifices have to be made to protect what is mine''

'' huh... sacrifices?'' shocked by his words, he felt no guilt for what he had done

'' Yes... and I would do it over again if I have to''

'' If you hurt Maria, it wouldn't end well with us''

'' Don't forget Logan'' he smiled putting the gun to Bianca's head, Bianca's breath quickened in horror '' I have her... one wrong move and a bullet goes through her head'' Bianca didn't take her eyes away from mine even for a second. I could see fear in them. he doesn't mean that does he? He wouldn't shoot Bianca

'' You can't do it... you can't hurt your own'' Father bust into laughter

'' Hmmm,'' Bianca struggled, flashing Father deadly stare. She understood just as much as I did and was ready to rip him apart but it was a pointless effort. my father who carried a satisfied smile. She crawled away from him.
