After school, I headed for the hospital, holding myself back from Calling Logan. I made an account to call him after going for the job in the hotel. I wanted to see him, see how he is doing. I had already reached the entrance of the hospital when I ran into Malisa who as well was making her way in. It seemed like she had just returned from school
'' You went to school today?'' I asked as we stood in front of the building and nodded in response, this made me frown '' You told me you took permission from school, didn't you? If you didn't want to stay today, you should have told me, why leave mother alone?''
'' Well I did but your friend came over, he told me to go school while he stayed on my behalf''
'' my friend?'' Confusion washed over me '' What friend?''
'' You know, Bianca's Twin brother, that Logan guy'' My heart sank at the mention of his name. Running into the hospital in disbelief that Logan would come to watch my mother. Bianca had always been the one to visit. I reached the ward and on reaching my mother's bed, I saw her sitting and playing cards with Logan who also sat on the bed facing her the two seemed to have already bonded by the way they were smiling about something I know not of. My mother said something and they burst into laughter. Strange, they were both laughing but Logan's voice was all I could hear, it filled the room like an unforgettable melody. Logan the ass hole had vanished and transformed into something so bright that I can not comprehend. I can't be the only one feeling this way, can I?
''Good evening'' Malisa's voice interrupted the room, calling the both of them attention to us. Logan looked in our direction and our gaze met. His wild laughter vanished and replayed with a gentle smile that slowly formed on his lips
'' Maria... you are here'' My Mother said
'' so am I'' Malisa announced so she would be noticed, she walked pasted me to Logan '' Hey big bro'' and they did some kind of coded handshake. When did they bond this quickly? Something is going on here and I am missing it
'' Logan'' I walked up to him slowly noticing a small bandage close to his left eyes
'' Hey Maria'' still smiling '' I wasn't feeling too well so I came to the hospital and decided to stop by to spend time with Aunt''
'' Aunt?'' it that what he calls her now '' I see''
'' How was school today sweetly'' Mother interrupted and I turned to face her
'' Oh, it was OK" Logan stood up and I sat down. The spot was warm '' How was your day today, mummy''
'' Wonderful. Thanks to your very handsome friend here'' she stole a glance at Logan and I didn't dare to look at him, to see his reaction '' You should have introduced him to me earlier''
'' hh'' holding back my laugh '' Sorry mummy''
'' I should take my leave now'' Logan announced, taking all attention immediately
'' You are leaving? When I just got here'' I frowned
'' hmm... sorry?'' confusion in his eyes
'' Maria is right... '' mother supported '' Maria, how about you walk your friend out, I am sure you have some catching up to do''
'' Nope... it's fine'' I assured with a smile
'' No it's not'' Logan said and I faced him again '' A second ago, you got offended that I was leaving when you just got here''
'' I am not interested any more'' I suddenly received a spank at my back '' Aaa'' Someone really needs to tell my mother that her hand hurts and I a too old to be hit in public
