I walked into the class a few minutes before the second period. As usual, the class went silent on my arrival. I made my way to my seat and the moment I sat down, Gorge sat up. With his elbow on the table, he rests his face on his palm while facing me. He flashed a cheerful grin '' What?'' Confuse

'' Sister, you are a legend '' he praised

'' What?''

'' Haven't you seen the video on the school chart '' I got irritated instantly, realizing what he was talking about. The video of me and Logan in the hallway has been going viral since Saturday. To my surprise I have not gotten an email yet, I thought I would be expelled by now or called to the principal's office but here I am, still in school in one piece.

'' Please, tell me talk about something else'' rolling my eyes

'' Yes My lady '' nodding, while he sat up straight '' Here'' he handed me his note making me raise an eyebrow confused '' You missed the first class ''

'' And you took notes '' I asked in disbelieve

'' I denied myself sleep because of you Maria... you own me '' my hand on my chest with mouth wide open, dramatically

'' Alex.... Alex is coming back to A&S!!!! '' instantly, the classroom was taken by Ladies' cheers. Screamed in excitement. I leaned close to Gorge in other to be heard

'' Who is Alex? '' curiosity in my tone

'' Logan's Cousin '' he says to my ear and I nod in understanding but still not understanding why they were excited

'' Why are they so excited?'' I asked again as the nose reduced and I watched Gorge shack his head in pity

'' hh '' he sighed as he leaned back in his chair '' According to the ladies' rating, 2019 - 2023 top 5 hottest guys in the A&S '' He began like a reporter, Number 5th we have James Westley. An art student in the political science department, the guy is the type that would surely go into politics after college, that is if he is patient enough to graduate. The ladies love to listen to him speak. Then we have Rowan on number 4th. Computer department and the nerdy type. No one really knows much about him but most ladies love a loyal good boy. Then Lucas comes in 3rd, I am sure you are familiar with him and number 2 we have me ''

'' You? '' I repeated, I wasn't surprised, apart from the fact he sleeps a lot. He is a good-looking fellow. I almost got a thing for him on my first day.

'' I swear to the heavens, I have no fucking idea how I got there '' he said with all seriousness '' I am even surprised myself '' his facial expression made me laugh

'' ha, ha, ha '' trying to hold it in '' OK, so Alex is number 1? ''

'' the ladies couldn't decide on who should be number one so we have two number one ''

'' Alex and who ''

'' Logan '' I frowned at the mention of the name

'' Yes... the two number 1s. first Logan, the one guy who is every girl's dream but beyond their reach and Alex, The high school sweetheart, very nice and flirty. He seems so close to their reach at the same time, so far away ''

'' Oh '' I rolled my eyes, I can't believe I just listened to all this. I usually have no interest and time for conversations like this. They were meaningless '' I see '' just then the class went silent. I turned to see that it was Logan and Bianca who entered and I looked away almost immediately. Instantly the English teacher walked in and the class began.

It was the first break. I waited for the class population to reduce before I took my bag and left. I had no intention of going back to the cafeteria. Not because I was scared but because I didn't get to enjoy my food last time, they wasted precious food and the thought of it still annoys me. I prepared a sandwich from home since I didn't have breakfast and I needed somewhere quiet to eat alone. I walked out of the main building to the school football field. It was empty, just like I expected. I walked a little further, getting to the stairs, only for me to notice someone lying there. I bent a little to get a better view of who it was '' shit '' I whispered as I realized who it was. Why her of all people? Quickly, I turn around to leave

'' Maria? '' She called. It sounded more like a question '' Yeah, it's you Maria '' I smelt excitement in her tone which made me turn around to see her in a seating position. She was so beautiful under so much light. Her skin glowed under the sun, and as the breeze brew her hair, she appeared like a model in a photo shoot,

'' Hi...Bianca '' I gave an awkward smile and a small wave, not sure if we should be acting friendly with each other

'' Come '' she invited and like a spell, I took the stairs and went up to her. What spell did she use, or was it because I saw her differently from her brother? She patted the surface beside her for me to sit and I took the seat '' Hi '' she smiled looking at me. I looked away from her to avoid eye contact. We were taken by an awkward silence for a while. I caught her stealing glances several times, making my brain go through a lot of calculation '' This is awkward '' she finally broke the silence

'' Yes it is '' I nod in agreement '' Did...you want to tell me something?'' I asked curiously

'' What? '' Confused

'' You called me over '' I reminded

'' Oh..oh yeah... not really '' she smiled '' Just didn't want you to run away because of me '' guilt in her voice and I rolled my eyes

'' And why would I do that? '' I guess she wasn't expecting my question

'' mm..'' in thought '' you know.. with your relationship with my brother, I just didn't want you to be scared of me as well ''

'' Ha,'' I let out a short laugh as I suddenly got comfortable in an instant. I guess knowing she was nervous made me comfortable. And she thinks I am scared of her brother, cute. '' it's funny that you think I am scared of Logan '' I smiled then looked at her '' I wasn't trying to run away... I was trying to find a place that I could eat in peace and didn't expect you to be here... I hate wasting food and people that waste food '' I said remembering that day

''So... you are not scared of me? '' Her question was a weird one. I Didn't get why I would be scared of her. Scared of the power she possesses, maybe

'' Are you a serial killer '' I asked. To be sure that I was safe. I think that is the only reason I would be scared of someone
