"So, how was it" Lara leans on the caunter with full interest. She is aware that I got into the school and has been bugging me since I got to the store " Come on tell me already" she whined as I worked on the registrar

" Let me work Lara" trying as much as possible to ignore her

" you are not a nice person Maria" She crossed her arms, faking a frown

" do you even know what that word means?" I walked out of the counter and made my way to a shelf to calculate the old stock on that roll.

"Of course I do"

" No, you don't.... if you did, you wouldn't use the word again" She rolled her eyes at me, took out her phone to check the meaning "14th-17th century meaning" adding to the details

" Nice she read out loud silly, Ignorant, Foolish" From the corner of my eyes, I noticed she bit her lower lips in embarrassment "Oh"

" there you go"

"But, that was before, it has a different meaning presently..... And don't try to change the topic '' with a frown. " tell me. How is the place?" I walked past her, back to the counter

" Hey?" she snapped

" what are you even doing here Lara.... you have like 6 hours before your shift". I let out, informing her of her pestering presence.

" Mr James wanted me to come earlier to pay back the time I missed" she explained and I nodded in understanding. "so tell me... Was it bad?'' I finally sat down, looking up at her. It is difficult to ignore her.

Bad? I whispered under my breath as I thought back to 4 hours ago

4 hours back

wow, I gasp in admiration. It smelt like wealth. I watched students, dressed in school uniform, A midnight blue blazer which had the school logo at the top left side, a white shirt and a midnight blue tie with white stripes, for the guys, trousers and the girls, pleated above the kneel length, high waist skirt, some wore grey tights while some wore socks matched with varieties of snickers or shoes. They all looked exquisite, beautiful, handsome and breathtaking. I couldn't tell, if it was the uniform that made them stand out like that or if it was just them. From every angle, you find students talking and laughing and they all walk in groups. From the groups, I noticed that there was a bit of a structure. While you see some groups walking with so much power and grace on their shoulders, some walk with authority and some are just there but not out of place like I was. I wouldn't fit in obviously but I had no choice. I needed the school. I made my way into the main building of the science department and walked through the hallway trying to find the notice board. I needed to see the names of the top students in the school. One has to know her enemy for her to win.

I could feel them, their stares against my skin. Giving me this confused look, wondering what a person like me was doing among them, wondering why I looked so out of place, some gave me a look of disgust while some tried to figure me out. I haven't had this much attention in a while. And I am prepared for the more to come.

"found it" whispered to myself. I finally found it after a long discomforting walk. They were top in every department. My eyes scanned for the engineering department. And there were 7 students at the very top list. 7- Olivia Charlie, 6- Maxis Willow, 5-Julia L Adam '' Those two names sounded very familiar, but I didn't let it bother me, 4- Isabella Henry Westley, 3- Lucas Benjamin, 2- Bianca Max Richard, 1- Logan Van Max Richard. I have to be on that Seven which means, one of them has to go down. My eyes suddenly fell on something far more interesting. The very Top in the entire school '' Logan Van.....'' an engineering student. My main rival.
