BEEP!

I didn't even set an alarm, what the hell!?

BEEP!

Stop beeping, you little fucker...

BE-

Jenna squinted her eyes open to see Five reaching over her, shutting the alarm off. It felt so surreal to her. She hadn't woken up in his arms since... the incident. He'd slept on the couch for months due to his shame right after it happened. He couldn't bring himself to listen to her screams in the middle of the night when she'd have a nightmare. He knew that he should've been comforting her, but it was just too triggering to him. Now, things just seemed to be back to normal, and she couldn't tell if she liked it or not given everything that had happened in the past year. Jenna pushed those thoughts into the back of her mind and opted to snuggle back into his side as he laid back down.

"We have to go, Jen," Five whispered in her ear.
"Where? Why?" She looked deeply into his eyes with a pout, "Can't we just stay like this for a bit?"
"But we have to get going if we're going to get anywhere with this eyeball," He reasoned.
"I wouldn't argue with me if you really want me to make the divorce papers disappear," She shot him a condescending smirk.
"Fine," He caved, though it was really what he wanted anyways, "Ten minutes sound good?"
"Sounds perfect," She looked at him with a triumphant smile before laying back down on his chest.

And they just laid there soaking in one another's presence. As much as Five didn't want to admit it, he'd missed this so, so much. He missed her warmth, her intoxicating scent, her silky hair, the dip of her waist beneath his finger tips, her delicate touch, her... everything. She felt just so right in his arms, laying on his chest that he felt like he never wanted to move for the rest of his life. They melded together like a perfect puzzle that looked like it shouldn't work at first glance. They were a completely dysfunctional couple, but that was all they knew. Dysfunction is where they thrived best. Unfortunately, their ten minutes came to an end too soon and they had to go. Jenna let out an annoyed groan as she looked at the time before swinging her legs over the side of the bed and standing up. Five followed suit and went straight for his closet in search for a fresh suit.

As Five started to change, Jenna noticed a cut on his arm reopening.
"Come here," She waved him over and sat him on the bed.
She knelt beside him and carefully healed the wound to the best of her abilities and slapped a train engine band-aid over top of it for good measure. After they both finished getting dressed, with Jenna finally in a comfortable skirt instead of Five's god awful schoolboy shorts, Five zipped up his duffel bag, including Delores, and went to open the door, but stopped himself just short of the knob. He made a one-eighty over to his window, pulling it open and starting to climb out and down the fire escape.
"Why are we leaving out that thing?" Jenna crossed her arms over her chest, "Can't we just use the front door?"
"We could, but I don't feel like socializing right now," He shrugged and continued to climb.
"You suck," Jenna yelled out the window before opting to float down with the help of a few lightning strands
She quickly noticed Klaus down below who was digging through a dumpster and was accompanied by a young man sitting on the fire escape near his head.

"I'd ask what you're up to, Klaus," Five said as he finished descending the ladder, "But then it occurred to me... I don't care."
"Hey, Five," Klaus peeked his head out with a bright and surprised smile.
"Hey, Klausy! Who's your friend up there?" Jenna smiled at Klaus and the other man.
"Friend? What friend, Jenna?" Five snapped his head over to her and stared at her like she had lost it.
"The guy sitting up there on the fire escape," Jenna pointed, "Wearing all black."
"How the fuck can she see me?" The man's eyes widened in shock.
"I don't know," Klaus' tone became frantic.
"Because I can see everything," Jenna sassed back to them, "Am I not supposed to see you?"
"No, I'm dead," The man said, matter-of-factly, "Only Klaus can see me. Oh, you must be Five's wife I've heard so much about."
"Unfortunately I am. It's nice meeting you... Ben?" Jenna racked her brain for a name.
"Spot on!" Ben clapped, "I'm Number Six."
"Hell yeah!" Jenna cheered, "Nice to meet the last Hargreeves sibling."
