"Luther, it's... it's a goddamn miracle, that's what it is. I mean, did anyone here think that Luther, of all people, would find someone to touch his...? That guy's a monkey virgin from space. It's a... it's a hard match to make. We;re all... we're all thinking about it. It's the elephant in the room, buddy. I wish you well. Happy- it's not your birthday. Happy wedding day, my friend. Take care."

"Ugh," Five rubbed his eyes with one hand, "What the hell happened last night?"
He tried to sit up, but couldn't due to the weight of Jenna's body keeping him on the couch.
"You were an idiot," She yawned.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you up."
"I was already half awake anyways. It's fine."
"What did I do last night? It feels like a bus hit me."
"You got drunk out of your mind after you danced with me outside. Then gave a... lovely speech plus a bit of karaoke for the group. After, we ran around the hotel, or I had to carry you around the hotel, for food. Then we heard Reg talking about something weird before you passed out on me and sent us into the elevator. By the time we got back to the room, you tried to go down on me, which I said no to because you were drunk, and we ended up here watching a movie."
"All I remember is the dance and then bits and pieces of last night. God, I'm really fucked up."
"How 'bout some fresh air, hm?"

Jenna and Five walked outside together each with a bowl of cereal. Five brought a bottle of alcohol out with him, but Jenna yelled at him to not drink it. They sat right next to each other literally at the edge of what was left of the world. It was all calm until Reg showed up.
"Reginald," Five sighed as he approached.
"I take it you know why I'm here," He stopped right next to Five.
"How 'bout I save you some time? Give you the 'no' upfront. I'm not the least bit interested in this bullshit plan you've been cooking."
"It's not, as you so colorfully called it, bullshit. Mind if I join you? If it's okay with the lady, of course."
"Knock yourself out," Jenna rolled her eyes in between mouthfuls of Froot Loops.
"I would actually appreciate some-" Five gave up as his father sat beside him, "time alone with my wife, I guess that's not happening."

Reg took the liquor bottle from beside Five and took a swig, "Dear god!"
"Mmm-hmm," Five rested his head on Jenna's shoulder, "Louis XIII, it ain't."
"I've had worse," Reggie sat the bottle down then stared out into the kugelblitzed sky, "It is impressive, isn't it?"
"All the ways we could've screwed the pooch, this way is the most complete. I'm relieved, actually. This time, everything goes. There's no Commission. No leaping away. No life spent going mad with the desperation to see a familiar face other than that of a mannequin or your wife. I just wish we had a bit more time..." Five rested a hand on Jenna's stomach.
"I'm sorry about that," Reginald pointed to where Five's hand was, "Right thing, wrong time."
"No shit, Sherlock," Jenna looked down at the ground in despair.

"If it makes you feel better," Reg continued, "I've seen worlds end in ways that would knock your socks off."
"It really doesn't," Jenna shook her head.
"Wow," Five ignored her, "Reginald Hargreeves, you never cease to surprise me."
"That is some comfort. You know, that all run together after a while. But you never forget your first. Your home. your original sin. You never stop wondering, 'Did I do enough to save the people I loved?'"
"Did you?" Jenna nudged Five off of her shoulder so she could properly see Reginald.
"No," He looked down, "but I was hoping you children could help me out with that."
"And there it is," Five scoffed and took another bite of cereal, "Sorry, Reg. I got a message from the future."
"What future?"
"My future self told me very explicitly not to save the world."

Reggie burst out into laughter, "You are an arrogant son of a bitch, aren't you? 'Future you'. 'Present you'. The past is as much a mystery as the future. You ruined your life once before by not listening to me. Are you prepared to do that again?"
"Always if it means that I end up with her," He intertwined his fingers with Jenna's.
"But we'll attend your little meeting," Jenna told him.
"Excellent!" Reg stood up with a smile.
"If," Jenna stopped him, "you tell us what really happened in the White Buffalo Suite last night. Who were you talking to? Klaus? Ben?"
"No one," Reginald quickly answered, "I was alone. Though I doubt you guys were in any condition to remember. We should go. Don't want to be late for the meeting. I would move if I were you."
"What? Are you threatening us?" Five rolled his eyes.
"No, he's not," Jenna yanked him up when she felt the ground moving beneath her, "We're gonna die."
"Shall we?" Reg walked to the hotel without another word.
