Without any warning, Five blinked into the Academy, completely out of breath.
"You better have a good reason to be back here, buddy," Luther immediately stood up and walked over to his brother, "Because not many of us want you here right now."
Five's hard demeanor snapped as soon as he heard the sound of a baby cooing behind Luther. His eyes widened as he tried to peer around his body, looking at his wife holding a small swaddle made of old curtains to her chest.
"Take a picture, it'll last longer," She rolled her eyes, "Now, please leave before I evaporate you. Or if you have something important, say it and scram."
"I'm-"
"No," Jenna finally snapped her eyes up to meet his, "You are not a dad. You are simply a sperm donor at this point for all I fucking care. Now, did you sign those papers, because there's no forgiving you for what you did. I've forgiven you for a lot of shit, but this is unredeemable."

He hung his head low without a reply.
"That's what I thought," Jenna chuckled, "Now, go- oh shit! You can't fucking leave because I need you for the extraction. And I need Hazel and Cha Cha to show up pronto."
"Extraction?" Luther abruptly turned to face her.
"The Marigold that inflected our mothers bringing upon our births," Five explained, "Shattered the timeline into infinite timelines. Same with the Durango. That's why Jenna was going after our doppelgängers. We're the reason the world keeps ending."
"How'd you find that out?" Jenna asked.
"I found Max's," He explained, "Had a major eye-opening conversation with myself. Well, a few of myself."
"And why I was hoping you wouldn't take the Marigold," Jenna continued on, "First, I need the Durango version of Ben to meet Jennifer to set up the next timeline correctly. Then I need to extract the Marigold from all of you to reset the universe to the proper timeline."

"Am I the only one who's very very very confused?" Klaus groaned, grabbing his head in frustration.
"Nope," Luther looked at the ground, blinking repeatedly, "How does today go from kicking ass at the CIA, to Diego and Jenna being cheated on, to fighting a creature made out of my brother and a random girl, to me delivering Jenna's baby, to whatever the fuck's going on now? I don't get it!"
"So that's what Ben was trying to show me," Viktor realized.
"He what?" Jenna turned her attention to Vik.
"Back at the department store," Vik explained, "When I was trying to pull the Durango from his body, I had a vision. I think he was trying to show me the original timeline."
"He tried to kill you," Allison sat up from her spot on the couch.
"But he didn't," Vik smiled, "Jenna pushed me out of the way and he didn't try to kill her either. I think he was trying to show me that resetting the universe isn't a bad thing. I saw all of you- us. We had normal lives. It seemed... nice."

"You guys need to let me remove the Marigold from your bodies so I can destroy it," Jenna looked around at everyone with a sad smile.
"Okay, but what happens to us then?" Diego asked with a shaky voice.
"You die in this timeline, the universe gets reset one last proper time, and you all have normal lives, but..." Jenna stopped herself from sharing the rest.
"But what, Jen?" Diego furrowed his eyebrows.

"But you guys won't remember each other," She gulped, "You'll be strangers. And you all won't have the same birthday. You'll be born when you were supposed to be and not forced by the Marigold. Everything will be the way it was supposed to be, guys."
"Whoa," Klaus started waving his hands all over the place, "The Old Klaus may have been down for some recreational hara-kiri, but it turns out that I'm really not into killing myself and forgetting my favorite people on the planet, so count me out."
"It has to be all of you on board," Jenna announced, "Or it doesn't work."
"Does anyone else not like this plan?" Luther grunted.

"Well, what happens to our families?" Diego glanced over at Claire and the rest of his family in the corner.
"If you and Lila happen to find each other in the correct timeline- even though that's not really what you want to hear right now given the cheating shit -then nothing changes. If it's not meant to be, then... Well, I can't guarantee every one of them will still exist."
"Uh, I don't like that answer, Jen," Lila glared at her, "So what, my kids just won't exist?"
"I don't know!" Jenna tried to stop tears from rolling down her cheeks, "I don't know how the normal timeline's supposed to look, so I have zero clue whose kids will still exist and whose won't. You're not the only one worried about that, Lila. I just gave birth, like, thirty minutes ago. So, once Hazel and Cha-"
