Jenna immediately hopped on the arriving train in the subway station the second she got down there. She closed her eyes and searched for her husband. Once she found him, she took the train to the proper stop. She arrived in a quaint, little cottage with a greenhouse full of strawberries. As she walked around, she saw Five picking a few from a plant while Lila sat in front of a cutting board chopping them up.
"Hiya, strangers," Jenna smirked, peeking her head in from around the corner."Holy shit!" Lila threw the knife at Jenna, slicing her thigh, "What the hell, woman!? Nearly scared the shit out of me."
"Jenna!" Five immediately ran to her side, pulling her into a massive hug, "We were starting to think that you weren't gonna come back for us."
"Really? How long's it been?" She asked while healing up her leg.
"A couple months, nothing too serious," Lila rolled her eyes, "But it's felt like eternity with that beastly fart you have for a husband.""I'm sorry, I got caught up helping your siblings," She apologized and wiped the blood from her nose, "So, you guys couldn't figure out my maps and journal then?"
"No," Five sighed and started to pack his bag, "But I did find another journal stashed in the subway station here. Looked just like your other one."
"Ahh, that's one of the other Jenna's journals," Jenna replied, "They're all over the place. Did you guys not find Steve's Jazz Club down here?"
"Steve's what?" Lila squinted her eyes, "You know what? I don't care. Just get me out of this place and back to my children. I just want a hot bath and to hug my little Gracie right now."
"Fair enough. So, since I don't have enough power to jump us all, we have to take the trains back. I know what I'm doing, though, so it shouldn't be a problem. Gather your shit up, let's move!"After plenty of tedious train hopping, playlist skipping, hand squeezes, and stolen kisses, Jenna landed on the song Me and My Husband while she walked down Lila's street hand-in-hand with Five.
"I missed you so much," Five murmured in her free ear before kissing her temple.
"Well, I came back for you, didn't I?" Jenna copied his actions, kissing his temple right back.
"Always. You always come back to me."
"Hey, Lila?" Jenna looked over next to her to see Lila twiddling her thumbs nervously, "Are you alright?"
"What if..." She shook her head, "I'm just scared."
"Hey," Jenna let go of Five to grab onto Lila's hand, "There's nothing to be scared of. I was just here with Diego and everything's perfectly fine."
"I haven't seen my kids in months, Jenna. What if... what if they don't love me like they did before?"
"Oh, Lila," Jenna gave her a comforting hug, "It hasn't been nearly that long for them. I promise it'll all be fine."
"Okay," She let out a deep breath."You're back!" Diego opened the door wide, welcoming the three back, "I see Jenna found you guys just in time."
"Yeah," Lila reached forward and hugged him.
"I was starting to get worried," He mumbled into her hair, "This is new."
"I missed you so much," Lila looked up at him, her arms still wrapped securely around his abdomen, "I'm sorry about what I said earlier. I don't wanna split up. I love you. I don't want to lose our family... or us."
Diego pulled her head to his chest, "I love you too."
He gave a wide smile to Jenna, to which she responded with a thumbs up."Mommy's home!" Grace yelled excitedly as she bolted past everyone to give her mom a hug. Jenna leaned against Five, just soaking in the sweet scene in front of her.
Lila held onto Grace like if she let go, she'd disappear.
"You can let go of me now, Mommy," Grace giggled.
"Just a little longer," Lila choked back a sob.
"But you're squishing my face," Lila pulled back, "Why are you crying, Mommy?"
"I'm just so happy to see you."
"You okay?" Diego asked, visibly concerned.
"Yeah," Lila wiped her eyes."It smells so nice in here," Klaus walked in, "Hey! How's it going? Jenna? I see you gathered everyone AND got here before us, you cheeky bastard."
"Yo, yo, yo," Diego picked up Grace and pointed down at Klaus' feet, "Shoes."
"Oh, sorry," Klaus pried his boots off and tucked them onto a rack near the door.
"Wait, what's with the streaky mascara?" Diego pointed under Klaus' eyes.
"Oh, yeah," Klaus grabbed Jenna's shoulder and pulled her in for a side hug, "Jenna here took me to see my good 'ol buddy Dave while Allison and Claire Bear took me home. Just a bit of emotional damage there, but I'm healed and rejuvenated now. No worries. Is anyone hungry? My god, I could eat a horse. Jenna? Wanna eat with me, you mega pregnant woman?"
"Normally I'd take offense," Jenna shrugged his arm off of her, "But I am very hungry, so sure."
