75} The Gift Of Life (1)

"Faster!" Jenna screamed at Diego from the backseat, "Or I'll drive myself after knocking you out cold!"
"Whoa, calm down, Sweetie," Five's eyes widened at her outburst, "I get that you're pregnant and your emotions are all over the place, but calm down. We're almost there."
Jenna hadn't told anyone that her water had broken because she didn't think that it mattered. It took her twenty-six hours to deliver Stephen, plus she'd made it through the thirteen hour car ride up there already, so she didn't want to freak Five out.
"Jenna," Allison reached back and put a hand on her knee, "We're here, stop worrying. And Diego, pull down that alley so we're out of sight."

When he tried to back up, the car went forwards instead.
"What the fuck are you doing, Batman!?" Jenna leaned forward over the center counsel, "Back up!"
"I'm trying!" He fought back, but the car wouldn't do anything other than roll forwards.
He angrily started slapping the dashboard, but only succeeded in turning Baby Shark back on. Jenna finally snapped and climbed over the center council, sitting down right on Diego's lap and smashing down on the breaks, only for them to do nothing. Jenna's emotions were out of control, causing her to shoot lighting all around the car and sent it scraping against another car. She finally came to her senses and pulled the emergency hand brake. Even though they finally stopped, Jenna had caused another issue: they'd stopped right in front of a hoard of angry Keepers with weapons.

Luther gave the Keepers an awkward wave right before they started to shoot up the van. Jenna pushed herself off of Diego and out the door. Jenna, as quickly as she could, formed a force field around everyone and the van, but the van's windows had already been shot out.
"Hey!" Diego exclaimed, "I just replaced those!"
"I don't think you should've cheaped out on the breaks!" Jenna screamed in his ear.
"To be fair," Luther defended his brother, "New ceramic pads on a vehicle this old is not a good investment."
"I can't hold it much longer!" Jenna whined from her overusing her powers mixed with the contractions from her being in labor.
"Hey, Five," Klaus slapped his brother's arm, "Do the blinky thing and get us into the store."
"That doesn't work anymore," Five groaned.
"Just fucking try it!" Jenna whacked him, "Lila can mimic you and I'll help. Just do something fast before I blow everyone the fuck up!"

"I don't wanna end up in the subway again, alright?" Five ignored her.
"I need you to do this right now Five," Jenna grabbed him by the collar, showing him the blood dripping from her nose, "Do this for me and the baby."
He gulped before giving her a stern nod. Every0ne grabbed hold of Jenna, Five, and Lila as they combined their powers to blink everyone into the store. They landed on the ground with a thud and looked up to see Viktor and a creature in front of him.
"Eww," Klaus grimaced, "What the hell is that?"
"I'm too late," Jenna dropped her head into her hands, "They already started to change. We're fucked."
As Jenna approached, Viktor stopped her, "Stay where you are!"
"V, you're hurt," Jenna tried to reason with him, "And I know how to help."
"I'm fine, Jenna," Vik dusted himself off, "Just don't touch Ben."

From around the side of the escalators, Jennifer emerged with the same grotesque disfigurement as Ben.
"Oh, Jennifer," Jenna slightly turned away at the sight of her.
"Get away from him!" Jennifer roared.
"Ben, please," Viktor pleaded, "Please let me help you."
"Leave now!" Ben warned, "I... I can't control it. I don't wanna hurt you."
Viktor waited a moment before creeping forward and grabbing Ben's arm; using his powers on him to try and pull out the Durango.
"V! No!" Jenna sprang into action.
She pushed Viktor out of the way and started the extraction herself, but she was too late. Reginald had used a sniper to kill Ben, but hit Jenna's shoulder instead. She fell to the ground as Ben and Jennifer merged together in front of her.

Diego immediately ran up and threw knives at it as a distraction to pull it away from Jenna. Five blinked upstairs with Lila. Jenna laid on the floor extracting the bullet from her shoulder before healing it up to the best of her abilities. She slowly stood up, tried to ignore the contractions she was experiencing, and grabbed ahold of the melted flesh creature.
"Jenna!" Five bellowed from the balcony, "What the fuck are you doing!?"
"Distract this thing!" Jenna commanded the Hargreeves family, "I need to get the Durango out. Just don't hit me!"
"Babe!" Five warned, "Force field!"
